How high will the Oklahoma/Texas Tech Total get?

I saw it opened at 69 at Pinnacle, which is a joke. In a few hours, it had been bet up to 75. Most shops have it at 75.5 now. I saw a lot of people saying it would be in the 80's by kickoff. Is this still the thinking, or will it settle in soon? Thanks.

Eyeing up the under. The books aren't afraid to open a game at 75-80 if they think that's where it belongs..

I can definently see Texas Tech's offense getting in front the first extremely hostile crowd it will play in front of this year.

Stoops has been stoking the OU home field crowd all week in the press.

“Hopefully it’s our focus and all, hopefully our fans will be more active,” commented Stoops at a press conference on Tuesday. “I don’t think it is because of how loud and ruckus our fans are.”

When a reporter responded that “it certainly didn’t hurt that [Sooner] fans get on the other team,” Stoops shot back, “When has that happened?”

The head coach reiterated his seemingly negative assessment of the home crowd’s involvement when told that Texas Tech’s Colby Whitlock was expecting a “rude awakening” in Norman.

“Why? Here? I’ve seen a lot of teams come in here and not even use silent counts,” stated Stoops. “I’m not so sure I’m with you on all of that. We haven’t been a real loud stadium.

They've had it pretty cozy so far. Texas Tech uses alot of audibles and hot routes in their passing game. Communication between Harrell and his wideouts will not be as crisp as it has been in Lubbock vs Texas and Oklahoma St. Also in a loud hostile atmosphere, the road team is more likely to put their pre-snap cadence in Pee-Wee League mode or else suffer alot of false start penalties. Oklahoma's pass rushers will be able to anticipate the snap better than Texas and OSU were able to, pin their ears back, and get to Harrell.

ULCA there were off by 8 pts but still under the total by 13.5 points
Tulsa there were off their projection by 2 points but still over total by 20
SMU they were off total by .41 of a point and still under by 28 points
Wash st.They were off total by under 3 points and still under by 26 points

This week we have TT at 566.3 yards and Oklahoma at 549.8
Put this into their formula and we get
566.3 + 549.8 = 1116.1 - 371.2 (avg yards of all 120 CFB teams)=744.9
744.9 / 7.5 (constant) = 99.32---
