SMU will give up points. Can they score against Tulane? I see Tulane played E Car and Alabama well but both were ripe for a letdown.

SMU offense should show up one of these weeks. Why not tonight?

Everyone is telling me it's good but I don't think they can defend against passing teams. They are just fine against conventional offenses but SMU is running the Texas Tech passing offense.

I love the over tonight BTW. My 2nd favorite college bet of the weekend.

If SMU's Threename Mitchell plays up to his average performance tonight, he's due for three interceptions.

SMU has not been impressive on offense. The run-and-shoot doesn't automatically make an offense good. When there's no talent to run it, it's bad, and the Ponies don't have much talent right now.

I still think Mitchell might develop into a good college QB, but he's way overmatched right now.

Speaking of Mustang QBs, word is former starter Justin Willis may emerge from quarterback Siberia tonight and play as a receiver.

tulane's D is built on pressuring the qb. good luck tonight with a team that takes every snap from the shotgun.

i'm telling you, smu can win straight up tonight.

You bring up a good point. The entire left side of Alabama's offensive line was out for that game (that includes AA Andre Smith). It did impact Alabama's offense. And Tulane moved the ball pretty good at times. The defense got real tired because the offense sputtered. Mark Ingram played very little as well during that game and Javier Arenas was knocked out.
