They are playing good but have they only really had 2 opponents with winning records? GB and SEA? and Seattle was 2-3 at the time they played....

There is a good chance could be undefeated in the regular season. 4 games left (ATL 2x NYG & TB) 2 at home. Their remaining schedule, right now, none of those teams have a winning record either.

I said this in one of my threads in the NFL forum ... they are the Forgotten Team ...
Most of their lines went down leading up to game time, because they weren't beating any real "Elite" teams. Even when they beat the Seachickens, they got no real respect

I think they can go undefeated, but it's still the NFL ... and it will be hard.

Who might beat them ? NYG or TB ...IMO

they're good, real good and they just are going out and taking care of business.Remember on any given day(sunday)you can get beat no matter the opponent.

I don't watch to much NFL besides the CHIEFS but i watched last nights game and ARIZONA is a sound team,I watched them last week to and they are good.

How good are the Panthers? IMO Good enough to win a lot of games in the regular season but end up getting beaten by SEATTLE or ARIZONA in an NFC Championship game. Playoffs are a totally different world and eventually a defense that can spy Cam takes them out.

They are, key. But I wasn't too impressed with their game last night: If MIN takes care of the ball, Cards could have easily lost that game. I know that creating turnovers is a big part of their defense, but that first fumble was just bad play by the receiver imo and the sack fumble on the last play is bad judgement by a young QB more than a great pass rush play by Freeney. In general the defense just gives up too many big plays rather easily, in part because they have a below average pass rush. Imo that will hurt them badly in the playoffs.
Offensively they have a bunch of weapons and make lots of Yards, but their redzone struggles are a huge red flag imo when it comes to playoff football. Especially since imo part of their struggles can be attributed to Arians and his coaching staff/playcalling: Opening drive they march down the field, RB Johnson runs 4 times for 3, 3, 5 and 6 yards. His last two runs came in the redzone and went for 5 and 6yards. Your opponents defense can't stop the run, is missing arguably their two best run defenders incl. THE key run defender NT Joseph and has been on the field for about 8min nonstop and you call a timeout on offense, instead of keeping to pound the ball? Then after that timeout you come back to throw it three times??? Results in another FG instead of a TD.
Then after Johnson later in the game is ruled down at the 2yard line after a 24yard gain, you take your best RB out and replace him with Taylor? Your no1 guy even got a breather thanks to the play being reviewed... And when Taylor gets stopped for no gain on 1st and goal at the 2, once again you revert to b2b passes resulting in a sack and short gainer and have to settle for another FG....
Up 20-13 with 12min to go, your RB1 Johnson doesn't step onto the field for the entire drive? Instead you hand it off 3 consecutive times to his backup and produce a 3 and out...
So your (rather big) RB1, who successfully ran for most of the night (and did the same the week before), isn't on the field when you try to run down the clock and gets exactly zero carries inside the opposing 10 in your two X and goal opportunities....
Just don't get that kind of thinking, imo that's a prime example of coaches outsmarting themselves and doesn't surprise me, that ARI is having those redzone struggles.

+1

As happy as I am for Cam since he makes sure every touchdown ball is given to a kid and that single seemingly little tiny event changes the course of their lives for the better my concern for them surviving the playoffs and getting to The Big Game?

Deep.

I'd love to see it though.

And I just hope with every fiber of my being that Palmer for AZ does not go down to injury.

Too damn bad they cannot meet in the Super Bowl because ain't nair a team from the Other Conference beyond Cincinnati with Dalton that I would consider acceptable to see there.

Or that deserves to be there.

Still pissed about The Patriots laying down vs. Colts to give back to Vegas a nice ATS Win.

I appreciate that they've cost Vegas so needed to give one back and that week with the amount of $$$$ on them was a "Once in a year" chance to repay 'n get more squared up and that those within The Inner Circle made a killing so all is good in their eyes but I don't even wanna see 'em.

Which...speaking of seeing....

Observe what The Pats fate has been after wounding The Common Man.

Numerous Injuries and a pretty much unprecedented downward spiral.

I hope they go 16-0 and lose their first playoff game. I expect the world that has been praising Cam Newton all year won't call him a choker if that happens.

All I know is that the 2 best teams in the NFC (Cards and Panthers) are better than any garbage flawed team in the AFC

We know you won't be watching it. You haven't watched an NFL game in years. It's all garbage right?

Playing bad teams? You do know they lead the league in wins against current playoff teams and wins against teams .500 or better right?

Packers were 6-1, cowboys had just gotten romo back and were favored on thanksgiving, they won in Seattle. Those are good wins not mention the other division leaders they've beaten. I don't think they'll win it all but they're 2 games up on everyone, even though you don't like em they are the best team

Ckid,

Linking verbs are our friends. Treat them nice.

"Was" is used in 1st person singular and 3rd person singular

"Were" is used in second person singular and plural and 1st and 3rd person plural....

So if you are using the word " they" it will always be "were". Never "was".
