Speed cameras in MD don't get you unless you are more than 11 over the speed limit

Never would I expect a ticket even going 20mph over the posted limit. If it happened it would be understandable, but unexpected

I would expect a ticket if I got pulled over. But no driver ever has the expectation of getting pulled over or else they would have already taken their foot off the pedal.

In Virginia anything over 80 is "wreckless driving"....so I try to stay under 80 (on the highway). On a city street I try to stay around 8-9 max over the limit. My firefighter (IAFF) sticker has gotten me out of a ticket or two over the years...

damn....that's bad luck or a pissed off cop....would consider fighting it unless it was in a school zone

the cop i mentioned said they want to make sure it will be a "ticketable offense" (i.e., stick) when writing something other than a warning so they usually want something more excessive.....
