sunday at the nba all-star game, there was some guy who proposed to his long-time g/f on the scoreboard.
however this proposal was to a somewhat well known woman: Star Jones of the TV show "The View"
for those who have never seen her - or can't recall who she is - she is the only black woman on the show. if you wonder what she looks like - picture "ruben from american idol" - and you pretty much have your "woman" (she also did/does ads for "payless shoes" - someplace i doubt she has ever set foot is - mostly because i doubt the floors could hold her w/o collapsing). to say she is NOT a member of the "H.I.P." would be an understatement. if she was to become a member - she would take up membership space for about 5 women.

my question to the peanut gallery here is:
if star jones was your woman - would you really want to admit it in public - and have people know you are the poor soul who wants to marry her if you were sober and then - how high would your BAC have to be before you even went on ONE date with her - let alone spend any time with her at all after that?
for me - i'd keep it as quiet as possible - not wanting to be seen ANYWHERE with her.
