He never could put the right pieces around a once in a decade player in Kevin Garnett.

He traded away Brandon Roy for Randy Foye. Doh!

He traded away OJ Mayo for Kevin Love and Mike Miller. Doh!

His team is awful. I don't know how Minnesota fans can accept this guy being your GM.

Well, to play devil's advocate to a certain extent, when he was told to coach the team he put together this year, they rebounded quite remarkably and played well until their heart and soul, Al Jefferson, went down.

I do not watch many T-wolves games, but they are painful. They have to be losing money. The stands were 30% full. Looks horrible in there.

Went to the Wolves game last Tuesday vs Golden St, the announce attendance was 14,000+. There were maybe 5,000 in the arena at the most. Shit product during tough economy and no wonder no one shows up.

McHale has done a lot of stupid things including: trading Roy for Foye, the Joe Smith secret deal, trading Marco Juric for Cassell and a future #1 draft pick, and trading away a potential star in Mayo who would bring in fans for Love who can barely jump over a dime and plays the same position as the only good player on the team.

Next year they have season ticket packages starting at $5 per game in the upper deck and $15 per game in the lower bowl. At least the Wolves know they have a shit product and priced it accordingly.

McHale was doing okay strictly as a coach though, wasn't he? I still root for Jefferson and Gomes, and try to follow them as much as possible. Seemed like things had turned for the better right up until Big Al got injured.
