Don't you think these guys should have a chart if the math is too hard?

Or something at least that says 3x40 = 120 seconds = 2 minutes?

I mean jeez, this is a multi million $ industry!

Unbelievable. All Pennington had to do was kneel down three times and the game is over. Herman Edwards of all people should know that after the play years ago when the Giants gave away a game to the Eagles and Edwards was the player who ran the fumble in for a touchdown.

When you run two playes like the handoffs to Martin, you give the Titan's two chances to force a fumble. These guys never cease to amaze me.

i needed the jets to hold mcnair to a less than 27 point difference in my fantasy league to make the playoffs - and was dying all throughout - especially when he didn't take a knee. agree, dave - what the hell was he thinking - or better off - NOT thinking about!

He got away with it this time, but you just know if they had fumbled, he would have used the same line when he tried that fake field goal earlier this year:
"We out there to win the game."

Uh, yeah, Herm, but you had it won...

Madden didn't make himself look too swift with his discussion about which Titan kicker coming out being an indication of whether they were kicking deep or on-sides. 1:52 left and no TO's; what suspense!

John Madden is going senile. When I heard that remark by Madden whether or not the Titans would try an on-side kick with less than 2 minutes to go and no timeouts confirmed his senility has taken over.

Agreed, Chuck - I spit my bourbon up in disbelief when I heard him say that, I simply couldn't believe I had heard it. And then the runs by the Jets - I first thought I'd had too much to drink but it turned out not to be so - no one on the Jets staff was smart enough to know you could kneel out the clock????

I feel sorry for Jets fans now, I really do

I was so amazed by the Jets not taking a knee that it bumped Madden's "will they or won't they onside kick" comment out of my brain. That was stupid, too, though at least Madden's comments are inconsequential as to the outcome of the game. Edwards' decision to hand the ball off could have had an impact on a lot of things if the Titans had recovered a fumble and forced overtime (AFC South race, first-round bye as well as stuff in our sports betting world with the side, total, etc.).
