This is a website worth checking out--this guy writes a lot on topics like self discipline, motivation, and personal development. Some of his stuff is "out there" but he's a real sharp guy, real interesting to read and I've probably gained more from reading this site than just about any I've encountered (except the RX of course!)

Great site....thanks for the tip!

Yeah, its a great site--like I said some of his stuff gets a little "out there" but so much of it is valuable and he's a real sharp guy so its always interesting to read. His podcasts are also well worth the listen--if you don't have an ipod or whatever you can listen to it right from your computer:

He recently opened a discussion forum too, so if you're not wasting enough time during the day here on The Rx there's always an interesting discussion going on there...

How do you make it fun or exciting enough that you want to do it on a regular basis? Any advice?

Join a gym and make friends there. You will look foward to going and talking while you workout. I go to a free rec. center and I know all of the regulars there. I never had a big problem working out in the first place but this makes it that much easier. Take it seriously but make it social as well. Plus, once you get past the first month you'll become addicted to working out. I feel like I pissed the day away if I don't make it to the gym.

boxslayer i like the suggestion on amped rtd. Now i need a suggestion on a fat burner. I know some of the fat burners out there make you seem like your all on speed and shit. I would rather just have a burner that does it job and not make me all wirey and feel like my heart is going to explode. Any suggestions would be great

I am surprised by the ipod suggestion....it happens to be true....cannot work out without it....it really puts me in a zone and people usually do not bother you when they see you wearing one...nice thread and alot of good suggestions...

Lipo 6 is a good one.

I've tried a bunch, and this one has little effect on my heart, becaue I know the feeling. I used to take ephedrine, and that used to mess me up good, get me all dizzy, felt like my heart was going to come right out of my chest.

Lipo 6 also happens to be bodybuilding.com's fat burner of the year award winner.
