How do you see Jimmer Fredette doing in the NBA?

I just don't see him as a point guard. He'll need to move to the 2. Not sure he can defend the size and speed of guards in the NBA. I doubt he's matched up against too many elite players. I don't think he'll have the kind of success Curry has had.

This is it in a nutshell. I've heard scouts say if you can't make your own shot/opportunity for points then you won't play in the NBA.

Jimmer does a decent job at creating his shot. He generally has the ball in his hands before he shoots...

One of my favorite sports trivia questions... who can tell me (without looking it up) where Nash played college ball...

We are working on the honor code fellas.

Santa Clara was correct for Nash.

I'm kicking myself for not knowing Marshall. The guy was one of my favorites.

O'Bannon and his brother went to UCLA. Mighty Mouse was 99.9% sure Arizona. Give me 5 minutes and I'll get some names up for you to guess.

Tough ones...

Adonal Folye (only know this because I almost went to school there and he was all over the brochure)
John Starks (my favorite player ever)
Harold Miner
Jason Kidd
and Alonzo Mourning (since you gave me the other half of the badass Charlotte combo)

he is stephon curry

I believe he is a notch below curry, and might not see much playing time. Also, on the def side of the ball he is a little small and could be more of a liability, but i can see him coming in for help at the end of close game's, the kid can shoot....

Foyle - Colgate
Baby Jordan - USC
Kidd - Cal
Zo - Georgetown
Starks - Think somewhere in Oklahoma but not sure. Maybe Division II?

Donyell went to UCONN and had a very solid NCAA career.

All correct except Starks. I believe he did play D2 or JUCO and then transferred somewhere in Oklahoma for 2 years. I might be wrong on his early college stuff but he definitely went somewhere in Oklahoma that you didn't name (I'm really narrowing it down...).

I just don't know Jake and I'm not going to cheat. Maybe someone else has a clue.

How about...

Chris "Bird Man" Anderson.

Millsap played at La Tech huh? That's pretty cool since I live so close to Ruston.

Think Marion might have been UCSB or something like that.

Reminds me of Chris Mullin a little bit.
But Mullin was like 6'7"
Jimmy is like 6'2" (on a good day)

What pro team (s) needs a 6'2" SG?

I tend to like him and see some potential. However, I would like to see how he performs against NBA style athletic defensive guards before I could be certain.

SD St is good, but playing in a conference like the Big East would give us a much better indication of just how good he is, or not.

Jimmer Fredette is more skilled than Reddick? Are you serious?

Two time ACC player of the year, all time ACC and NCAA leader in three pointers made and 2nd all time in the ACC behind Hansbrough in points scored. That is better than Jordan, Vince Carter, Grant Hill, Christian Laettner and so on and so forth.

Guy dominated the NCAA's best basketball conference and Fredette dominates the Mountain West. Now he's betting around 26:00 per game and averaging some points. Always in the end of the game for Orlando and contributing.

I'll root for Fredette but to say he's more skilled than JJ Reddick is very far fetched.

Jimmer can handle the ball and create, at least against MW competition

JJ was simply a shooter

that's the potential difference IMO. JJ will never play the 1, Jimmer may.
