just noticed this thread since yesterday. I average about 30 plays a day and like anti -liberal says I hope to have an edge on every bet and I mostly do. Not just steam but value versus the consensus line. The more the merrier. I have the same edge a bookie has on his clients and that is the way you have to look at it in the long run. Bookies have losing nites all the time but when all there bets are 5% edges than they win in the long run and they want to have as many bets as they can write down and so do I. The old coin flip bet for +110 is how this works. Remember every bet is a +ev, if that is the case than you should bet all of them.
Honestly have hit 55% since last year on close to 2,000 games. It is borderline eerie to me how close the results have been from month to month. I started out Feb behind and am now 134-110 for the month and that is 55% again.
Have lots of outs and lots of money put towards this and bet small, for me less than 1% of my bankroll and NEVER watch a second of any game but sit all nite in front of the computer searching for bets and bet halftimes which are a goldmine.
Steam is nice but screen watching and finding value is something I have been able to add to my game the past 6 months and it has taken me to a new level. Betting around $100 a bet won me $5,600 for Jan and that is becuase of ALL THE GAMES I BET. I average about $5 profit per game bet for me ona $100 game. Most impoartanly if you dont have the stomach for the huge flucuations than I advise against it or the work ethic. For some odd reason I cannot go much higher bet size than $100 before it gets to nerve wracking for me because of all the games.
