Actually the red hats are a big deal. Baseball always says they are about tradition, but they allow fashion statements. Bull shit to that. Give me a uniform that is tied to the city, not to whims. Example: Detroit Tigers.

Not a fan of the pink bats during Breast Cancer Awareness week, not a fan of the players honoring Jackie Robinson by all wearing #42, not a fan of the alternate uniform. For crying out loud, just play baseball you soft bunch of girls. What's next, they'll be wearing skirts. Enough already.

I like when they keep the regular hat colors but do a stars and stripes in the logo a lot better than the red hats.

i don't mind the throwbacks, as long as they really used to wear them. even the ugly cws shorts are ok once in awhile.the astros rainbows are actully kinda cool in small doses. but don't throw on non matching hats. like i said this is no big deal, just an annoyance.

they've played thousands of july 4th games and never felt it necessary to give them all red hats. then again, you never saw all the stadiums named after loser companies that nearly banckrupted us all.
