I'm a 49er fan and feel great. We got Isaac Bruce to help Alex Smith figure out Martz' offense which should be a ton better. Justin Smith on the defensive side will give us the pass rush that we've lacked lately. Alex Smith is finally healthy and we also signed Allen Rossum. The defense should be a top unit and the offense should improve quite a bit. Plus they signed my Boise St homie Jerrard Rabb at WR so that makes me like em even more.

Oh yea we also signed Bryant Johnson at WR and I think he has all the potential in the world to be an excellent WR. Guy has size and speed and coupled with Isaac Bruce and Vernon Davis, we have a very nice receiving core.

11-5 and winners of their conference. Sleeper SB team.

Your out of your mind. Isaac Bruce will help Smith figure out Martz's offense. Just one problem... Marshall Faulk-Isaac Bruce-Torry Holt-Kurt Warner isn't the same as Frank Gore-Isaac Bruce-Bryant Johnson-Alex Smith. Maybe in the future they will be good but, this year they just still aren't ready.

4-6 wins.

I had felt solid about the Giants all post season for the most part but I am starting to get a little skeptical.

Steve Spagnuolo back is huge.
Losing Gibril Wilson was a big loss.
Lost Kawika Mitchell...but whatever.
Lost Strahan hurts.
Good draft with Phillips & Manningham.
Added some depth with Clark, Wynn.

But now all this turmoil...Bradshaw in jail, Plax, Shockey... I don't know what to think.

We are still going to the playoffs, Shockey thing is minor, when Sunday comes along, and he's on the field, he's not thinking I hate the Giant front office, he's thinking ablout throwing that block, or making that 15 yard catch.

It'll be strange not seeing Strahan.

10-6 good for WC

I hope ur right, but people were saying the same thing last season and that did not turn out well. Also I'm done with Alex Smith. Give Shaun Hill a shot, 5 tds, 1 interception, 101.3 passer rating, and 2-1 record. Not too shabby. I just hope they give this kid a shot and don't just give the starting job to Alex, because he was a #1 pick.

Gotta admit, it is always nice to know that no matter what the rest of the team looks like, as long as you have Peyton, you will be in the thick of things no matter what.

They can compete without harrison, without freeney. They win the SB without Bob Sanders missing most of the year.

Every year, I hear the naysayers writing them off acting like this is the year they fail and every year they win their division and if it weren't for the Patriots, may have an additonal 2 or 3 Super Bowls.

Cowboy Fan:

We are one degenerate away from being the 70's Raiders. I am hoping we can pick a Bengal or something before the pre-season and we will be there.

The 70's Raiders would lose to a decent college team of today. Why oh why do people think old time football counts. My God, todays players would run roughshot of the teams of the 70's. Last years Dolphins would have trounced the 72 Dolphins

Hey Queenoffarts: Wake up and smell the coffee. I never said anything about the 70's Raiders being great, even though I think they were the winningest team in the 70's. I was talking about the perception that they were a team full of misfits and degenerates. My fucking Cowboys are heading down that path: Pacman, Tank Johnson, T.O., etc.

I smell what your cookin.

But sometimes, people think old teans count and that is just ridiculous. Makes me laugh when thinking of a white fullback like Czonks running the ball up the middle 25 times a game against todays teams.

Boston College woild go 11-5 this season with that Pat schedule.
Pencil in your playoff tix now.

Yup.. my jaw dropped when they released the team schedule earlier this year. Not as if the competition in the AFC East is what it used to be to begin with, but the schedule was a gift. Two games that will be very difficult to win is in SD and in Seattle, but I still think the Pats are much better than those 2 on a neutral field. I see us goin about 12-4 or 13-3, hopefully will be enough to get homefield advantage in the playoffs. Hopefully no off-field controversies, or undefeated season shit.. both lead to increased pressure in the playoffs and I believe hindered us in the end last season.

Fins fan...I think we're moving in the right direction. New front office and coaching staff who are known to make things happen. 2 young arms competing for a starting QB job. Word out of camp is that Ricky Williams is looking solid and is Parcell's right hand man (as long as he stays off the pipe!!). A healthy Ricky and Ronnie Brown could be dangerous behind a pretty solid o-line. The o-line has a lot of potential but may need time to gel.

We brought in loads of special teamer standouts and if Ted Ginn is still returning the kicks, watch out. He only had one return for a TD last season but had 2 others called back due to BS holding penalties. Tony Fasano has been brought in from Dallas to be our new starting TE and the coaching staff made a point to bring in speedsters at WR.

Our defense just got a bunch of new faces to clog the middle. Our secondary is fairly young and has potential but is injury prone.

If my Fins can put things together this season (and that is a big IF) they have one of the easiest schedules to assist them.

Tampa Bay Bucs fan,

feel O.K. about the season. Ernest Graham was a nice surprise last year. Garcia is old but still above average. WR core is still crap but defense will be top 3 or 4 again this year. Looking at around 8-8, or 9-7.

Giants..
They may not repeat as Super Bowl Champs, but they are solid.

Offense may be better than last year...o line in tact, age not a factor, QB and RB are above average, WR may be better is all healthy.

Defense is still good even without Stahan.

May not win the division (Dallas is also a good team), but Giants are one of the better teams in the NFL.

Injuries will most likey be the key for all the teams.

As a Seahawks fan I hear this every fucking year whether it be from optimistic Niners fans or Cardinals fans. It's the same fuckin thing every year. This is the Seahawks division Jake. They OWN it.

11-5, 5 straight NFC West crowns.
