Just wondering what the best method of collecting large winnings is. Considering the law doesn't smile upon gambling, how do you collect? I know here in Canada, any transaction over $10k is automatically reported to revenue Canada. What, if any, precautions are necessary?

Just break it up in $2500 increments using Neteller. That has worked well for me.

There are two ways. CASH and Bank Wires. Follow Shrink's steps for cash and bank wires can be sent several times for 9k each.

isn't it true that if a bank gets multiple 9K wires into the same account, they'll raise a red flag and possibly report the activity?

kenuk...

if you' ve got the "problem" of collecting "multiple 9k wires"... call a lawyer/consultant on an offshore island to open an account for you... you should be able to cover his fees...

the IRS knows about every bank wire from outside the U.S. to your bank........that you have every made....... doesnt matter what amount either......

get over the magical 10k amount...

any bank wire from OUTSIDE THE U.S. is subject to scrutiny by federal officials.........thank 9/11 for that

the fbi found that the hijackers had numerous bank wires far below the 10k amount (many bank wires were for a few thousand dollars)

but if you're just a good-natured gamer, will they care enough to turn it over to the IRS?

given the millions of bankwires going on each day, why would one person stand out?

Sure wish I had this problem. I would suggest smaller amounts in checks only, then having places to hold your money, not necessarily any institution. SDB's and jars serve good purpose.
