Prior to the 8th Inning theres not many Birds but then come the 8th and thereafter, when the game is about to end or should have already ended (during Extra Innings), there are many Birds circling all over.

How do these Birds know when to get to the stadium? Its not like they have watches or calendars or SmartPhones that can alert them to the optimal time to get there.

How do they manage to arrive at just the right time?

seagulls in toronto arrive downtown just after sunup and before there's a lot of morning traffic, to get the pizza, hot dogs and fries left on the ground from the previous night's revelers.

Ok well that makes sense, as Drunken Horseplayer said they see empty seats + food. I guess upon thinking on it further they are conditioned, like, its become part of their animal instincts as Birds to associate large groups of cars/people with food so they are probably hanging around the whole game just...when they see people leaving & empty seats they start flying all over the place so it can appear as though they just arrived.

Maybe they did just arrive and its the exiting cars that tips them off to go ahead and fly over to the ballpark.

When the Birds see its Extra Innings and that the game is still going on the Birds should just sit down somewhere and wait. Patiently. Its not like they're gonna hurry up the process by flying all over and pooping on stuff.

If the game goes too long like 17 innings or more do you think that some of the Birds get mad and leave?

birds roam and flock

what happens is a bird roams into the park and if there is no food they leave and if there is food they stay.

another roaming bird sees a bird hanging out, instinct is to go check it out (flock)

before long you have a shit load of birds
