I was having a decent day until the Giants couldn’t figure out how to run out the clock. I went light on the game (had NE). Made up that loss with a 1st half under and a final score under. Broke even with a win on 3rd quarter over 10.5 and a loss on fumbles over 1.5.
My big money was on total sacks under 4.5. I thought I had a loser before the game was 10 min old as Manning got sacked twice on the opening drive. Then I made it to halftime with no additional sacks and I started to feel good. Number 3 & 4 came rather quickly about mid 3rd Qtr. First Brady held the ball a little too long and he gets sacked. Manning proceeds to get sacked for #4 in the Giants next series.
So there I am hanging by a thread but I manage to get down to the final minute still winning. I’m actually counting my money at that point because it appears the giants will use up all but a few seconds and I knew they wouldn’t be passing.
Then they have to score.
I honestly still thought I was in good shape because I don’t expect NY to be rushing more than 3 and with so little time I expect Brady to do anything to avoid a sack. Even if he has to chance intentional grounding which if called is just a penalty not a sack. Well it was almost like they all had money on the over as the Giants rushed hard and Brady folded up like a cheap tent. <Sack> …. Bang what a letdown.
I did manage to offset ½ of that loss with a mid-sized wager on total interceptions under 2.5. Actually the INT under was something that hit me as I was looking at the numbers and I should have jumped all over that. The way Manning’s been playing and Brady never being carless I was positive under 2.5 would win. I guess I didn’t want to chance 2 extra-large plays but as I waited for the game to start I just knew the INT’s was a good deal. I did call back and add 100 to that but it still dwarfed my sack play. Story of my life easy money and I leave a lot on the table.
I did enjoy the game, it was fun but I should have won.

It was a GREAT GREAT year and it had to end on a losing note...Propositions were good, would have been great had the two teams combined for more than 19pts in the 2nd half Grrrrrrrrr LOL...But BernieVegas sucked hind tit on the game itself....I was against John Q Public on both the game and the total and I lost....Good thing the Star Spangled Banner plays everyday as now my full attention to basketball and horse racing. Can't football season start over??? LOL Forget it, like betting basketball and horse racing better

I couldn't believe that with all the money I had on the Giants, that I forgot to put in a larger parlay on the Giants/under parlay. Had a small one for 30 bucks, but somehow forgot to put a larger one on before the game. Guess I made up for it on the Giants/Under 2nd half parlay and straight bets.
The Giants made me $$$$$ for their last 5 games. Remember next year, like the Packers of the year before and the Giants this year and other teams of earlier (but recent) years, take a hot team through the end of the season and ride them. All you can lose is one game if they get eliminated (and not as hot as you thought), but you can win 3-6 games and some serious money. Thank you Gmen.
