Iowa has the worst weather of any state in the union.

BRUTAL WINDY WINTERS......HUMID SUMMERS......LOTS OF SPRING RAIN........TORNADOS.

Weathermen earn their pay in Iowa.

Not to mention no professsional sports teams, no scenery, being bored out of your mind because there isnt shit to do except gamble and drink. Only decent place to live is Des moines and even that gets old after a while.

Left Iowa to see what it would be like to do what I do in another setting. Iowa is great place to grow up and to raise a family. I wouldn't change it for anything.

Having said that I would only return for 2 jobs in the entire state. One in WDM, or Ames.

Iowa is full of good people, and great small towns, but I would have a hard time giving up what I now have to move back.

I do enjoy my visits, but I do enjoy coming back to my current home.

No to mention that ISU is one of the most beautiful campus settings you could ever see.

A nice campus in the Southern part of the state.

I went to Wartburg in Waverly for a couple of years, another great campus.
