i just posted today a thread on a pattern i've stumbled on. this makes me wonder if it is rigged. this pattern is occuring in hockey and the ncaa but absolutly nothing in the nba. I am starting to think conspiracy but then again i'm crazy.I've adentified 12 games in hockey this year and 11 in ncaa. i'm gonna post the games and dates maybe someone can shed some light
Because the hockey forum is the best forum on this by far IMO. You don't have the whiners when they lose a bet calling fix 5 times a day.
If you went by the NFL forum you'd think 60% of the games are fixed, when in reality it's probably 1 or 2 a year, IF THAT. My guess would be zero more years than not, but I'm sure there is the odd game (probably a game nobody even suspects either).

In any case, I am getting sick of all the whining about games being rigged, especially in the NFL and NBA forum. I can't open a thread without someone talking about a game being rigged. People need to stfu. It's idiotic. I believe there's fishy business going on occasionally, but you got yahoos claiming rigged game every f'n day. You got this loren guy doing a weekly thread claiming to pick out weekly rigged games. It's getting absurd. These people act so enlightened when the reality is that they've let their cynicism take over the grasp of reality. Their paranoia is annoying and childish. That's the bottom line.
Anyone hear about the cleveland Syracuse upset tonight? A guy throws a 60 something foot 3 pointer to upset Syracuse at the end of the game. My point is, fact is stranger than fiction. Or in this case, the actual game that is played out has wilder things happen in it than a rigged game. So when you see something weird happen, just accept that it is weird, or a fluke, or a plain bad call. Stop acting like babies and screaming rigged.

I dont know how many will be old enough to remember this. But there is one game I remember. It was Quebec vs the rangers in the playoffs. Quebec scored which was going to bury the rangers but the ref said it didnt count because it was a 2 line pass but there was never any whistle. It was after the puck had went in. In retrospect I think, it would have been odd for Quebec to go on and win the cup (and they had a great team that could have went all the way too) when the suits probably knew they were bound for Colorado.
