That call was inexcuseable. I had no $$$ on it (don't bet football), that call was absolutely horrible and could cost Tampa homefield down the line.

BTW- I see a few claiming fix. If that's the case then quit betting the sport. If you are so sure there are fixes why put your money at risk like that?? I don't believe in fixes in pro football. College is a different story because an unpaid athlete (QB's in particular), could take a big pay off to do some shaving.

yea it was obvious something shady had happened. like awesomeagain said the flag was thrown afterward the FG was missed. its almost as if the refs desperately wanted indy to complete the comeback just so they could say they were part of some loopy comeback.

The game was not fixed in any way.The call on the end was ridiculous. Just some over officious putz.

We seldom have the pleasure of watching an NFL game where the refs don't call marginal penalties. It seeems like they want air time. Those Ticky-Tac pass interference calls drive me up the wall.

Where have you gone Mr Tag-lee-abu there are no red flags in heaven. Hey, Hey, Hey.

On the out of bounds play... It looked like he was hit by the defense then his knee was the first thing to hit the ground inbounds. I believe according to the rules the play ends right there, before the rest of his body hits out of bounds. Wasn't that the correct call then?

I thought his hand was touching the sideline before his knee was within 6" of the turf, but they didn't really freeze it - so I'm not 100%.

We reply because as much as we know its not true, we are powerless sports fans. That is all. I mean is there any more empty feeling than having your team lose a game on an absolutely outrageous call? I mean the ref that threw that flag never heard the phrase "let them play".

No I doubt any of us really believe it was fixed and anyone that says it was probably is saying it tongue in cheek. Its just blowing off steam, because in the end we got screwed and there is nothing we can do about it.

i had the bucks and yes the refs sucked, but the bucs deserved it, 21 point lead with 3:44 to go and supposedley one of the best defenses ever, how do u just let the only big play maker the colts have( marvin harrison) run free up and down the field, they should have played some sort of double team on him with kelly out, or put barber on him, shitty game for the refs but more pathetic by the bucs defense. that leaping rule is bs and needs to be thrown out of the rule book. i have had the bucs twice once in the second half agisnst carolina(missed xp) and now this, two horrible beats.

Alan,

Your right of coarse, the win covered all Indy money line bets. The refs fixed the game so Indy could score three touchdowns in four min and then win in overtime. They panicked when Vanderjak missed the FG and came up with that crazy call.

The rule that the clock stops on a personal foul in the last five minutes was put in this morning.

As far as the other fixed games this weekend your right about those too. I'll just go into one.

Washington was stopped on the 36. 4 and 12 - a minute twenty to go - 2 timeouts left.It was all prearranged. Spurrier would burn a timeout while he made up his mind what to do, then Hall would make a 53 yard FG, then they would recover the onside kick, then score a touchdown and then miss the two points.Again this preserved a money line win for Philly, while it also ****ed the Philly betters who laid the points out of their money.

Incidentally all the refs in that game were members of the Fair Play For Cuba Committee.

And They Keep On Coming Wow People Really Dont Believe it is Rigged, I would Like to Have a Poll Just to See out of all the people on this Site to See What Percentage Think All Games are on The Up and Up,Indy Could Not score the Whole Game But Figured it out just in Time,Once again I had Indy I am Not Blowing off Steam But Facts Are Facts Some Games Are Made For TV Specials And Now For the Rest of The Season ABC Will not lose half of its Audience before the Game is over,Most of the World had already said Good Night To That Game,I didnt Post to Get Argument going I was agreeing with originator of Post YES Some Games are Rigged And You all should Know it,But I do wish I could Believe it was not Rigged then I would Bet on the Teams I Really Thought would Win For Example Miami Plays Jacksonville Next Week and the Dolphins are only favored by 3.5 Well Common Sense Tells me that Miami should Win Easily But I will Most Likely Bet On Jacksonville Because the Games looks to good to Be true and Probably Is and Miami will win on a Last Second FG or Something,In My Opinion Miami Can Beat The Jags By basically whatever score they want to But We will see, No Need for me to go on and on If you are Reading this and Believe Sports are Not Fixed then More Power to You I am Done with this Conversation!

That has got to be the best comeback I have ever seen. Even the game a few years back of the houston/buffalo couldnt match this game. I could see all the squares right now thinking they had a winner with 4 minutes left lmao. The ML players on indy have gotta love this game lol. FWIW awesomeagain the game is not fixed. It was just awesomeagain

Somewhere along the line you have to give some credit to the Colts. They did not panic and they made some big plays at the end of the game. The return which brought them back in it. The onsides kick was a beaut, and when the defense had to have it they stopped the Bucs.

It sucks as a Bucs fan (and the refs were horrible) but sometimes you have to tip your hat to the opponents. Good job Indy!

THE ROUGHING THE KICKER PENALTY ON THE COLTS (RHODES) IN OT. YOU CAN'T, if it's fixed at all this is a no call.

here is the explaination, to make it look good when the colts get the ball back and win out right, watch the whole game and buy a clue guys.

discussion over go on to the next game

I don't trust anyone who doesn't use periods, Alan.

A Buc Fan who is disappointed they stopped playing after 3 3/4 quarters.

i believe the "leaping" rule was put into place to protect players from injury. Players could get a twenty yard head start, jump up, then fall into the pile and land on their head.

Hang on a second lets get back to the roughing the kicker call.
That was a terrible call, funny how some of these bucs supporters seem to forget that one.
After that call the bucs only needed another first down to get into field goal range.

Maybe the refs forgot the fix for one second!

This is so dumb when people cry fix, the ending was so amazing you could not plan it if you tried!

One tip, you always get more bad beats betting NFL favs -3.5 and over than any other subset.

If you think sporting events are "fixed" why would you wager on them? What would make you believe that you could beat the books if they "fix" games?

I am a firm believer of the fix in sports, but NO ONE can convince me the officials would have allowed the game to get so far out of control in the first place if they wanted the Colts to win.

That argument is often, but just because one believes Some games are fixed does not mean all games are.
