Help me here because this game just looks like the Jet game last week when I couldn't understand how anyone could bet the Steelers.....

On the face of it, the Eagles have laid an egg every year. Why would this be any different? Plus, somehow you are getting 5 points. Wow they beat a terrible Viking team last week. There will also be a major snow storm (predicted) and to lay points in bad weather (which equal low scoring) is crazy.

Look for a closing line of 4 and a total of 33-34. Bet the Falcon moneyline b/c the Eagles are a show me team and the Falcons will show them the door.

Different Eagles team this year. Much better all around either of the previous three years, even without T.O. Trotter and Kearse are huge differance makers. Plus they have a healthy team this year. Last year they were very banged up. They were a shell of the team they were during hte season last year. They had no D line, injured secondary, no Westrook and McNabb got hurt in NFC title game.
This year they are running on all cylinders and ready to go.

I think this game is going to be alot closer than alot of people think.
I think the team that gets the breaks in this game wins. turnovers will play a key role.

Because Trotter is playing like he's Ray Lewis.

Oh, and because TO guaranteed they'd win. :suomi:

Was just looking at the stats and this surprised me a bit.
Avg rushing yards per attempt:
.
ATL: Off= 5.3....Def= 3.9
Phil Off= 4.3....Def= 4.3
.
Atl better both off & def.
Phil better in most other stats though.

heck, two running teams, two tough D's, snowstorm on the way...bet the UNDER. the game's a toss up in those conditions.

I know you watch alot of playoff games when was the last playoff game decided by turnovers. I just think this game turnovers play a key role. both Quarterbacks can scramble. Mcnabb is the best passer out of the two, but 5pts is alot to be given to a team that matches up with you.

Yes Ace Ace is on Philly and he is correct most of the time BUT NOT ALL THE TIME. Vick will make this Philly Defense look like girls chasing a guy. If the field comes up slick, there is no way the Philly will contain Vick. He might be a 200 yard rushing QB this week!
