I know this is a dumb prop but I just saw at Bodog that Indy was a -130 fav to get the opening kickoff??

How does one come up with these odds??? Is there some steam on Indy and the coin toss??

Books keep track of everything. Wouldnt be surprised if Indy has won all the coin flips so far and they are looking for gullible money from people believing that Indy and the coin toss is easy money. feel sorry for those thay lay 130 on a prop that is even money.

I see how this works. Has less to do with the coin toss than team strategy. If Tampa wins flip they will elect to kick so they can get the ball after halftime. If Indy wins flip, they may want to try to get a quick score to get the crowd out of the game or at least give their defense a buffer. Let the offense set the tone of the game. Or something like that.

By the way, looks like they took this one down early.
