Enemkpali, an outside linebacker in his second season, has been released by the Jets, according to Bowles. He was a sixth-round draft pick last year.
Bowles says Smith and Enemkpali got into an "altercation" in the Jets' locker room Tuesday morning.
"It had nothing to do with football," Bowles said. "It was something very childish, and he got cold-cocked, sucker-punched -- whatever you want to call it -- in the jaw."
Smith, entering his third season, required surgery to repair the jaw.

An "Out" Geno over the course of 6 weeks might produce about the same amount of Passing Yards over that time as an "In" Geno.I feel that Geno is so completely -ev that this cannot turn out but +EV for Jets.
I personally am completely befuddled at how Jets expect to accomplish anything positive with Geno behind center.
Right? Fitzpatrick will start and I'm like, "FINE. ANYone but Geno for chrissakes....try and sell me that The Jets are gonna be improved this season then leave Geno behind Center, bring back FAVRE if you have to just damn anyone but Geno."
Maybe I'm too hard on Geno. Its entirely possible. Anything is possible I guess. I see "Howard Beach NY" as posters location though sayin' Geno is crap and I'm led to believe I ain't inaccurately estimating Geno.

If so then I officially now believe that American Football Players make the poorest decisions of any group of people in the whole history of the Human race.
Lets see...."should I punch out Geno and jeopardize my career, very likely lose a whole lot more than a couple grand or should I chill and NOT jeopardize so much 'n try to resolve this amicably over time? Hmmmmmmm. Tough Decision."
