Phil didn't let bynum play when he thought they still had a game. He replaced bynum like three minutes into the third quarter for Odom. Bynum practically played throwaway minutes when gasol and kobe where out in the fourth and Phil was probably resting his team for game 4 until they came back within 7ish.
