wilbert
it's going to be a very long and ugly season here in this city. I just thank god I didn't buy season tickets this winter, (and I really was considering it) I don't think I would have showed up to more than 12% of those games. It's going to be so sad here in Montreal when the Spos are going to be 26.5 games out of a wildcard on a beautiful summer night in August and a team like the Brewers are in town and there are 2,843 fans. Then when the Braves come to town after that, there will be 3,463 fans. Man is it going to be sad Wilfred.
And having Vlady not here will also hurt us, even if we were competitive. He was so exciting and loved by everyone here. People came out just to see him. We lost our most popular player of all time and our best player too. I don't even think we will draw 500,000 fans this year. Home opener we will get 23,000 fans, then we will have 3,400 fans the next day. Very sad, indeed.
Well, you can now officially put a fork in baseball in this city. We're done.
