If you're considering brackets for the format, you may want to consider 64 or 128 entrants. Maybe states with more members could be allowed multiple entries, or something of that nature. For instance, maybe we would only have 1 entrant from Vermont, Alaska, Hawaii, Rhode Island (?) and maybe there are several members that would like to represent New York, Nevada, Florida, Texas, Cali, Pennsylvania, etc. Just a thought!!

Or, have 1 week run-offs within each state to determine who reps each state.
