New England Patriots to win Super Bowl again next year? I believe so.
While it is hard to argue with the success the Patriots have had recently, they've done much of it without a legitimate No. 1 running back. Well, that's no longer an issue with the offseason acquisition of Corey Dillon from the Bengals.
Other main changes -
Ted Washington gone to the Raiders
Keith Traylor signed
Traylor isn't on Washington's level, but if the Patriots can keep him healthy, he can be effective.
While Traylor will help, first-round pick Vince Wilfork (6-1, 323) is the player who could really make Patriots fans forget about Washington.
Punter Josh Miller should give the special teams a boost. Miller, who averaged 41.9 yards per kick last season, will replace Ken Walter, who ranked No. 31 in the NFL with an average of 37.7 yards per kick.
The Patriots added a couple of veteran cornerbacks this offseason, bringing back familiar face Terrell Buckley and signing Jeff Burris. At the very least the three will add depth to a unit that led the NFL with 29 interceptions.
Let's not forget linebacker Rosevelt Colvin was part of that Bears 13-3 season 3 years ago or so, he was injured all last year. If he is even close to healthy for the Patriots this year, the NFL is in really big trouble.
Patriots will repeat.
