HOU/DEN - Monday Night Football

Anyone else leaning HOU in this one? They are +9 right now at my book. Based on the Vegas power rankings, the look ahead line for this game was DEN -6.5 - the public is really hammering DEN hard and I'm hearing a lot about the Brock Osweiler revenge factor. I kind of feel like this is being overplayed a bit. Also, why is nobody talking about the flipside? Does Osweiler not want to shove it in Elway's face and make him regret not paying him? Will his teammates rally behind him knowing that he'll be especially "geeked up" for this game?

I'm not a fan of either team, or Osweiler to be honest, but +9 just seems like too much. Hope everyone had a prosperous Sunday!

It's not that I don't think that at all. I'm saying 9 points is a lot.

9 points is a lot but I felt so lucky last week getting a push with Houston against the Colts and watching Osweiler suck for three and a half quarters, I just don't know if I can put myself in that position again pulling for him. He's looked bad against some average defenses this year and I consider Denver's defense a bit above average. On the other hand, Denvers offense hasn't proved their good enough to lay 9 points either. Tough call with me. Guess I'll wait and see what EKG and BR need and make a decision then. Feel like I'm playing with house money after stealing that game with Seattle last night anyway. Lol. Yeah, that totally makes sense. I'm a Pats fan and watching Osweiler lose 27-0 in New England against a combination of Garroppolo/Brissett was PATHETIC. He looked like he totally sucked. I haven't made a play for tonight yet - was just surprised by the spread - but I'm starting to think maybe I don't want to be in the position of having to root for him either!

At the time of this post the line is back down to DEN +7.5 so I guess I'll wait and see where this line goes throughout the day. GL everybody!

This game is probably going to be one of those weird games where you want to pull out your hair no matter which side you are on.... But considering how pathetic both offenses are I'll probably take the under and play small whatever side ekg is on....

BTW What do you think of Under 40.5?
Also what do you guys think about Denver TT U 24.5?

After being involved in last night's game and getting a split with Zona and under, I don't have the stomach for this one.

This looks to be just as ugly only I wouldn't be quick to jump on the under here. Unlike last night we have 2 young QB's who will probably turn it over and give up defensive scores, short fields, etc.

Your last point is what is scaring me from teasing this down to DEN -0.5 and under 46.5....Lord only knows what kind of turnovers might happen that result in gift points.
