For the past few years, essentially since they first opened, I exclusively stayed, played, dined, shopped, etc., at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The place has it all, including impeccable service and the perks have been unbelievable. Free cruises, huge discounts, and I've NEVER paid for a room.

Recently i I found myself traveling and ended up in Laughlin and then Lake Tahoe. I began using harrahs/Caesars total rewards again and within a short time I had already reached diamond level. After reviewing the program it seemed to have amazingly better perks in comparison to Cosmo especially because of all the locations and partnerships. So on my last trip to vegas I decided to skip the Cosmo and stay at Caesars (because my friends were staying there) and they dicked me around when I decided to stay an extra night. It really infuriated me. So much so that I'll be going back to Cosmo permanently.

How do you guys like other rewards programs such as mlife, and others around the world? Where do you get the best perks and service?

Cosmo gives me better room offers than other casinos for sure. Especially given quality of rooms.

Mlife is not good. Being diamond with total rewards is the best, diamond lounge at any of the properties, quick valet, front of the line for almost anything at any Caesars property and this includes taxi lines which can get ridiculous. Wynn also has a very good rewards system. This is just from my experience.

As a big sports bettor I have found most of the reward systems to be not worth much as the only reward slots or table play...... but Stations at least gives points for sports bets.

But perhaps I am missing a trick here?

I'm hooked it with Harrah's, and they seem to take good care of me. I always get free rooms, sometimes multiple rooms with the others being at casino rate. On some trips all my meals are covered too, but I usually have to pay something for food and incidentals

not sure what other guys receive / expect, but I'm good with what I get and Harrah's has a lot of properties all over the country, including 4 in AC and like 10 in LV

I spent some time with Caesars when they were still a big time operation. (Before Harrah’s merger) Never spent much times with Harrah's (or associated properties). These guys, I believe, were the first to start the "point card" Mickey Mouse shit. Real players seem to be lost in the shuffle with them. They are all about making some slot junkie happy with a buffet line pass.

Now they are a little too big for their bitches and in some financial question. Had a struggle refinancing some debt. Continued expansion when smarter companies had begun to pull their horns in due to economy. (They are closing their biggest hotel in Atlantic City)

Good option for Joe Public, I guess. If you are a real player...... haul ass and get the treatment you deserve.

And Cyyykster..... you say you live in Vegas....... Companies don't give two shits about sports bettors when it comes to comps or casino rewards. You seriously did not know that?

El Traino, I am gonna check out Cosmo a little.

Hey El Traino,

Kind of scares me a little looking at the Cosmo website. Looks too much like a really pretentious and yuppie joint. Is it? Not that that is necessarily bad.

I am pretty sure I indicated with my post that I did know that. That was the whole point of my post actually. I dont "say" I live in Vegas..... that is my address...... although I dont have any clue why that matters about anything. I am staring at the new SLS and the dead Fountainbleu out my window as I type this.

I think I misread your post.

My fault.

So we agree they don't give two shits about sportsbook players.

They present it a bit that way but it's just like any other. The place is new, clean, advanced, some of the best food in vegas, and most importantly, the customer service is unparalleled IMO.

Yea they really dont..... Stations and LVH give you points for sports bets but the rest of them do not. But no one is offering big comps or rooms or free show tickets or any of that.

Understand Buddy. That is because in spurts we can beat them in the sportsbook. They don't take time to give you a comp.... cause they are busy figuring out how to limit or boot us when we win.

went to cosmo last week, checked in late on a tuesday night (i also had an RV spot with one of my dogs) on an offer for two midweek nights for free and they gave me a wraparound suite for $100 for the two nights all in...also nice they dont make you pay resort fee.

got two tickets to slightly stoopid concert via another email offer that included balcony access (better view/less crowd) and full open bar with a dedicated bar on Wednesday night

well done cosmo, they are earning my loyalty

one of best parts of the trip was hitting up ellis island though, that place was a trip! i am going back for sure....i am not into karaoke, but their karaoke bar was hilarious

Have no complaints with Mlife/Mirage. Great Host, no problems.

Actually I'm on my way to Vegas in a couple of hours :)
