CONSORTIUM*CHOICES

# 7 ANNIESWESTERNCARD 9/5
# 1 BROADIES SONG 5/1
# 4 HELLO HOT SHOT 5/1

After thorough analysis by the consortium, ANNIESWESTERNCARD comes out as the top pick. This gathering could be controlled by this gelding. A single look at the avgerage TrackMaster Speed Rating will confirm that. This nice horse looks very good considering the high class ratings. Don't throw out of any exotics. That 83 TrackMaster SR clocked in the last competition puts this race horse in the mix today. BROADIES SONG - Tough to pass on this gelding with cagey Marohn in the bike. Major player for the victory. Looks like a strong contender in this group of animals and his positive winning percentage says he has the raw talent to score for this race. HELLO HOT SHOT - This gelding has been racing versus some of the most competitive horses in this group of animals in recent times. Could beat this field of starters, just look at the speed figure - 82 - from his most recent showing.

Race 5 - Post: 8:32 - 1 mile. PACE - Class Rating: 80 - Purse:$6400 - FIVE YEAR-OLDS AND UNDER - WINNERS OF 3 BUT NOT MORE THAN 5 EXT. PM RACES OR $37,500 LIFETIME RACES FOR LESS THAN $2,251 FIRST MONEY NOT CONSIDERED NO. 7 HAVE A PARODI FIRST TIME LASIX
CONSORTIUM*CHOICES

# 5 REGALANTHROPIST 15/1
# 6 CHARMBO CURIOSITY 5/1
# 7 HAVE A PARODI 9/5

REGALANTHROPIST has a very nice shot to take this race and the big morning line could mean a big score. Could be the best in the group of horses here, showing really good rankings of late. Average speed is a solid 84. Has a bang-up shot for this race, if he can repeat his back racing class. Not many folks know, but the 5 position here at Pompano Park has been terrific for a well above average win figure. CHARMBO CURIOSITY - Exemplary win percentage combined with recent great performances. We think he can handle this group. Might be there at a nice price tag. Definitely one to keep in your exotics. HAVE A PARODI - Should be in the hunt again in this contest, looking to improve that already high lifetime winning pct. Pay close attention when Macdonald has a race horse moving down in class. Dangerous!

Race 2 - Maiden Special Weight - 8.3f on the Dirt. Purse: $17000 Class Rating: 69

FOR MAIDENS, THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. THREE YEAR OLDS, 123 LBS.; OLDER, 124 LBS.

RECOMMENDED*CHOICES

# 5 PERSUASION 8/5

# 7 CITY SAVVY 6/1

# 4 DOUBLE ONTHE ROCKS 9/2

My selection in here is PERSUASION. Has solid speed figures and has to be considered for a bet in this contest. Must be given a chance based on the decent speed figure garnered in the last contest. Must be given a chance given the class of races run lately. CITY SAVVY - In this field, this horse is prominent in earnings per start in dirt route races. Looks very strong for the conditions of this contest today, showing solid figs in dirt route races recently. DOUBLE ONTHE ROCKS - May see a major improvement with blinkers going off in this competition. Must be in form if the handler is bringing him back so soon.

RECOMMENDED*CHOICES

# 3 FANTASTIC PARTY 5/2

# 5 SUNDAY ROSE 6/1

# 7 BLAZE TO GLORY 7/2

My choice in here is FANTASTIC PARTY. Overall, has one of the top earnings per start in dirt sprint events in this field of horses. Has garnered solid speed figures in dirt sprint races in the past. She has been running strongly as of late while recording strong speed figs. SUNDAY ROSE - With a quite good 70 speed fig last time out, will clearly be a factor in this contest. Looks to have a strong class edge based on the recent company kept. BLAZE TO GLORY - Win percentage one of the top in this field. Looks solid to be up on the front end at the first call.

Turf Paradise - Race #6 - Post: 3:12pm - Claiming - 6.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $7,000 Class Rating: 74

Rating:

#6 GRAYMARKSTHESPOT (ML=3/1)
#2 LOVELY SUMMER (ML=15/1)

GRAYMARKSTHESPOT - This gelding's last speed rating recorded on Oct 2nd is utmost in last race speed figs. No needing to look any further. This horse has my money. Way too much pace. The addition of Lasix might make this animal wake up and run very well right here. LOVELY SUMMER - Don't throw this one out due to his last race at Turf Paradise where he ended up sixth on a track listed as good. Should improve this time around. The jockey/trainer duo of Enriquez and Brinkerhoff has a strong ROI together. Gelding has shown some pace. This shorter distance should be better for him.

Vulnerable Contenders: #7 AWESOME KID (ML=7/2), #1 LEARTES (MEX) (ML=9/2), #4 SONORAN PEGASUS (ML=5/1),

AWESOME KID - This gelding earned a speed figure in his last event which likely isn't good enough today. LEARTES (MEX) - Doubtful for this one to make a winning move with no success lately in a short distance race. Not normally the kind of animal one plays off of any kind of extended time off. SONORAN PEGASUS - This vulnerable equine didn't go to the lead and didn't make up any ground in the homestretch last time he ran. This gelding registered a fig in his last event which likely isn't good enough in today's event.

STRAIGHT WAGERS:

Play #6 GRAYMARKSTHESPOT to win if you can get odds of 2/1 or more

Mahoning Valley Race Course - Race #2 - Post: 1:12pm - Maiden Special - 8.3 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $17,000 Class Rating: 69

Rating:

#7 CITY SAVVY (ML=6/1)
#1 SEINE RIVER (ML=6/1)

CITY SAVVY - This gelding is in nice physical condition. Finished second on Nov 22nd. SEINE RIVER - This jock and trainer have a profitable ROI when they work together. Maiden is switching to the dirt, and may not have liked the turf last out. Has a good chance to break maiden.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 PERSUASION (ML=8/5), #4 DOUBLE ONTHE ROCKS (ML=9/2), #3 U CAN'T SEE ME (ML=5/1),

PERSUASION - Hasn't been on the Mahoning Valley Race Course oval in the last three weeks. Cause for some concern. This closer looks to have little chance without an early speed duel up front. DOUBLE ONTHE ROCKS - This equine hasn't been close in either of his last two outings. U CAN'T SEE ME - Didn't hit the board on November 19th at Mahoning Valley Race Cour. Followed it up with another less than stellar performance. Garnered a quite unimpressive speed rating in the last race in a Maiden Special race on December 5th. Doubtful to see an improved performance off of that fig.

STRAIGHT WAGERS:

Put your money on #7 CITY SAVVY on the nose if you can get odds of 9/5 or more

Woodbine Harness: Monday 12/12 Analysis
By Garnet Barnsdale

DRF

Race 1 - $40,000 Guaranteed Pick Five Pool

Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

PICK 5: 1/2,6,8/3/1,8,9/ALL = $18

EARLY PICK 4: 1,8,9/2,7/2,9/1,4,5,6 = $48

LATE PICK 4: 1,4,5,6/2,3,5,8/5,6/4,5 = $64

MEET STATS: 48 - 176 / $263.00 BEST BETS: 9 - 17 / $31.00

SPOT PLAYS: 3 - 17 / $15.20

Best Bet: WINDSUN REVENGE (3rd)

Spot Play: SIR GALAHAD (1st)

Race 1

(1) SIR GALAHAD paced a remarkable 26 flat third 1/4 last time and just failed to get by the leader late. A slightly better trip gets him a win here. (4) LATE NIGHT drops back to the class he won in two back and looks like the main danger. (8) MIGRATE BLUE CHIP raced well vs. a sharp shipper last time and he figures to take a good share here. (3) BIG JOHN HOUN could improve for Moreau here, but it's doubtful he can challenge the top three.

Race 2

(6) FREE WILLY HANOVER steps up off a powerful win and he can take another here if he minds his manners. (8) MONOPOLY made a big move last week and tried to bottom out the field and it almost worked. His current sharp form should be respected. (2) DEUCE DEUCE DEUCE has been closing powerfully but often too late; use him on the bottom of vertical bets here. (5) THE POWER OF MANY figured to follow along and take another smaller share here.

Race 3

(3) WINDSUN REVENGE is the top dog in this class right now and he should take another here. (5) IL SOGNO DREAM was no match for the choice last time, but he did beat him two back on a track rated two seconds slow. He likely completes a chalky exacta here. (2) WILD AND CRAZY GUY is in great form and he should be passing rivals late to take a share here. (6) FEARLESS MAN is getting closer and he could take these a long way on the lead.

Race 4

(1) J JS DELIVERY didn't show much in his return race, but he moves to Allard here and drops into a claimer; angle play. (8) YORK SEELSTER blew his foes away when claimed last week. If that race didn't empty the tank, he should be tough right back here. (9) PAR INTENDED is in solid form and always dangerous; using. (3) MUSSELSFROMBRUSSELS ships in and goes for trainer Fine off the claim. Others look better, but he does have upset possibilities.

Race 5

(7) CATCH THE DREAM moves to a much better post here and drops slightly. He should be on the move earlier; top call. (2) A ROD HALL has a pattern of winning following by breaking stride next out. Tonight will be a win if the pattern holds. (9) RAMAS LAST SON was game in victory last time. He could string another good one together here if he is pushed to get good position early. (6) COVERT OPERATIVE should be along for a share in the stretch here.

Race 6

(9) CRANKIN IT UP jumps up in class off a lifetime-best score. He could get a similar trip to last time which would produce the same result. (2) NEVER BEEN TOLD was the easiest of winners last time and wasn't even asked down the lane. He's the one to beat. (7) RAGING FINGERS looks next best in a race with few real contenders. (6) SIERRA MADRE should pick up some pieces late here passing tired rivals.

Race 7

(4) HIDDEN POTENTIAL has had many rough trips of late. He picks up McNair here. Maybe he can work out a better trip and score at a price. (1) LOVEDANCINWITHYOU drops to the bottom conditioned level where he should fit much better; using. (6) WALTZKING HANOVER has faced a very hot horse the past two starts in claimers and raced okay. He could be a good fit here. (5) A COOL CARD takes a huge class drop and should wake up with a much better effort, but he could be wildly overbet.

Race 8

(8) TYMAL WIZARD steps up off two powerful wins. He could triple up here in what looks like a weak field for this class. (5) DIRTY SECRET shows all “1s” in her past performances. She's the one to track down, obviously. (3) SMOOTHER RIDE gets a much better post and Jamieson sticks; using. (2) MEADOWBRANCH MEMO is another that can improve getting away from the 10-hole.

Race 9

(6) RESISTANCE FUTILE flew home last week but ran out of racetrack late. He should be tough here, but probably at a very short price. (7) BRINGHOME THEBLUE has beaten better on this circuit this year and he shouldn't be taken lightly in this spot. (10) IDOLE DUHARAS drops off an even effort and if he blasts off the gate he could surprise here. (5) AUDREYS DREAM faces easier and adds Lasix; consider for exotics.

Race 10

(5) CS EYE drops into a claimer which should mean all systems go here. (4) JAC SPADE was taken back by trainer Campbell at Flamboro and he should be right there again as he is in top form. (8) NO BU ships in for Allard and is another that is in good form and should take a share. (3) CUNDALINI has a penchant for finishing 4th and that is where he gets rated here. (7) ROCKIN THE HOUSE goes for 1/2 the price he was taken for in August which is a red flag, but, he is very fast when right. This one is a bit of a head scratcher.

Yonkers: Monday 12/12 Analysis
By Brewster Smith

DRF

MEET STATS: 291 - 1232 / $1,872.50

BEST BETS: 32 - 115 / $151.10

Best Bet: CONCUR (5th)

Spot Play: WINNING LINC (11th)

Race 1

(5) LUCKY PLAYER Canadian shipper is clearly knocking at the door for her second score of the year; gets the call. (8) ON TOP OF THE ROCK came wide at the 3/4 pole and saved the show spot; contender despite the move to the 8-hole. (1) QUEEN JOSEPHINE should do much better from the fence and Bartlett keeps the faith.

Race 2

(1) SANTIAGO STYLE retains the rail and moves down the ladder; poised to boss these. (5) PAWN SHOP JUNKIE did show good speed but had nothing left in the stretch run; player. (3) FAST N VICTORIOUS was second best in his last trip; exotics factor.

Race 3

(1) TRACEYS DESIRE gets serious post relief and Bartlett gets the call; the pick. (5) DAG INMY STOCKINGS raced evenly in her last try and could have a say with a better trip. (2) ROLL WITH JOSIE moves up in class but seems Brennan knows this filly; watch out.

Race 4

(3) WINNERS OVER flashed good speed in her latest and she can top these if this pacing miss gets the right trip; we shall see. (6) ROSY OUTLOOK is knocking at the door based on her last three outings. (1) IDEAL PRINCESS clearly can be right in the mix from the fence.

Race 5

(2) CONCUR came close to glory last out missing by only a neck; all systems go with Brennan at the controls. (8) ROCK POWER was on the engine from door number eight but did not have enough gas in the tank; dangerous. (1) CENOVIS gets post relief and that should help his cause.

Race 6

(5) BULLY PULPIT'S qualifier was so sharp that I will take a shot with him to put it all together. (4) STIRLING ESCORT was sent down the road in his Philly finale for all the glory. (1) CARIBOU BEACH was late on the scene to grab show money last time around and seems capable of moving forward from the fence.

Race 7

(1) HIGGINS showed life last out and this gelding appears to be heading in the right direction. (4) HAPPY ANDYVERSARY can have a say with these with a favorable trip; maybe. (3) VINOVIO has wheeled off two straight victories and is not out of this despite the rise in class.

Race 8

(4) SKINNY DIPPER blew the doors off her competition last time out and now she moves up the ladder but based on her last performance, another victory is well within the realm. (1) FRANNEY LOVE DAT was on the engine most of the way but was caught at the wire for win honors recently. (6) MANIANA got the job done wire to window upstate in her latest.

Race 9

(4) AZUL POOL Sophomore gelding is back in the winning groove and now he moves up the scale but good to see Brennan at the helm. (7) ANOTHER DAILY COPY put in a sharp qualifier on Dec. 2 and this pacing colt must be considered in all the exotic slots. (5) MAAJAACKKOBE scored his second victory in a row at the Meadowlands last time around; don't overlook.

Race 10

(3) SETTLEMOIR Gelding is knocking at the door based on his last two outings; ready to boss these. (1) PAN OF STEEL moves back to the rail where he did get the job done three trips ago. (2) FEELING CAM LUCKY goes back to door number two and was a fast closing second on Nov. 28; watch out.

Race 11

(5) WINNING LINC seems to be coming around to winning form and with the right trip he can greet the cameraman for pictures. (3) BIG TOP HANOVER came close to glory missing by only a nose; threat. (7) PRETTY BOY HILL is on quite a roll scoring his third straight victory; beware again.
