CONSORTIUM*CHOICES

# 4 FOR KEVIN'S SAKE 5/2
# 6 TOBINS FUSION 3/1
# 2 PRINCE ALAND 9/2

Hey, listen up! FOR KEVIN'S SAKE is the sharp wager if you like to win. Positive feel - squaring off well enough to contend in this contest. Could be considered here if only for the respectable speed fig earned in the last competition. Huge driver/trainer ratings make this interesting entrant a bang-up choice. Unquestionably will be putting money down for this race. TOBINS FUSION - Outstanding win stat combined with recent competitive performances. We think he can handle this group. Most definitely think these two have something special. Gill sending the horse out means a really strong chance to get the score. PRINCE ALAND - Really liked this gelding's last race. Ran a solid 77 TrackMaster Speed Rating. Major player. Can't gloss over the connections here, a 27 winning figure, one of the best at getting into the winners circle.

FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE STARTED FOR A CLAIMING PRICE OF $5,000 OR LESS IN 2015-2016 OR CLAIMING PRICE $10,000. THREE YEAR OLDS, 120 LBS.; OLDER, 123 LBS. CLAIMING PRICE $10,000.

RECOMMENDED*CHOICES

# 6 SURF N SKI 3/1

# 7 IMA HAPPY STRIKE 4/1

# 2 LOOKS TO SPARE 9/5

I think SURF N SKI is a solid choice. He ought to be carefully examined given the very good speed figures. Win percentage under similar conditions may be the key for this gelding. Cappellucci has him trained soundly to break speedily out of the starting gate. IMA HAPPY STRIKE - With better than average trips to the winner's circle, Hebert will most likely have this gelding in excellent position to win the contest. LOOKS TO SPARE - This gelding looks strong here since Evans has a sharp win percent with horses going this distance. Is a key contender - given the 93 Equibase Speed Fig from his most recent race.

RECOMMENDED*CHOICES

# 3 CARTA REGIA 5/2

# 10 SWEET HENRIETTA 10/1

# 4 BANANA ANNA 6/1

CARTA REGIA looks very good to best this field. She has to be considered given the quite good speed numbers. With Ocasio on top her, this filly should be able to break out early in this race. Have to look at solely on class, with some of the top class figures of this field.

Mountaineer Park - Race #8 - Post: 9:34pm - Allowance - 6.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $25,100 Class Rating: 99

Rating:

#2 JASIZZLE (ML=9/5)
#3 HELP A BROTHER (ML=3/1)

JASIZZLE - Have to like the early speed on this one. No one else may even be close. I cannot ignore the fact that this gelding is working extremely well. PP data show this pony with 3 improving speed figs. Quinones should be on a horse ready to go in this race. HELP A BROTHER - The rider/handler duo of Lopez and Craig has a strong return on investment together. I like this gelding. Has the highest EPS (earnings per start) in here.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 BOOT LEGGER (ML=7/5), #1A OUTBACKER (ML=7/5), #5 NOPALITO (ML=6/1),

BOOT LEGGER - This steed hasn't been near the winner at the wire of late. Won't be easy for this horse to beat this bunch off of that last speed figure. Not likely to improve enough to run a figure close enough to today's class figure, so put him on the vulnerable contenders list. OUTBACKER - Just can't wager on this vulnerable equine. Didn't show me anything positive last out or on Aug 6th. NOPALITO - In any race of 6 furlongs, I like to bet on a contender that has been sharp in short distance races of late.

GUEST COMMENTARY: Winston - JASIZZLE - This is an automatic bet for me. This gelding is the top TM Power-rated entrant and his rating towers over the rest.

Yonkers: Tuesday 11/15 Analysis
By Brewster Smith

DRF

MEET STATS: 283 - 1179 / $1,830.00

BEST BETS: 31 - 110 / $148.40

Best Bet: LETTUCERIPRITA A (10th)

Spot Play: ELUSIVE ACTION (2nd)

Race 1

(5) RANSOM DEMAND was sharp for the place spot at Philly last time out and this seems to be a perfect spot for this gelding to get the job done. (1) UPFRONT LORNE Plainridge invader is knocking at the door based on his last five trips. (3) V I P BAYAMA put in a mild rally for the show spot last time around.

Race 2

(7) ELUSIVE ACTION showed signs of life in his last try. Trotter is very capable of getting a favorable trip for all the glory. (4) RIDGEWAY SPRINGS Sophomore gelding is sharp in his last three tries and must be considered in all of the exotic slots. (1) SOUTHWIND VENUS Filly came outside to nail down the place spot last time out.

Race 3

(3) BEST TURBO Her last trip was an indication she is ready to greet the cameraman for pictures. (1) IM LOOKING AT YOU was sent down the road last out at Philly for all the glory. (5) MANHATTAN AS closed strongly to grab the show spot in her most recent outing.

Race 4

(4) MADIBA MAGIC N moves down the ladder and gets a cozy post to work with; the pick. (2) SOUTHERN PURSUIT N has put in four sharp efforts and he appears to be the main threat. (5) IN COMMANDO should fare better from the 5-hole; maybe.

Race 5

(1) BAHAMA MAMA AS seems to be heading in the right direction and moving to the fence can enhance her chances; gets the call. (5) DEWDLE ALL DAY is on the dropdown and should show more speed against these; main danger. (3) BETTER TO BE LUCKY took charge right from the start in his Saratoga finale and never looked back; watch out.

Race 6

(3) LINDYLICIOUS showed life in his last start at Pocono and this trotting filly has every right to put her best foot forward. (4) ZETTE STARLET gets post relief and that should help her cause. (2) INUKCHUK CHUCK could have a say in the outcome if given a favorable trip.

Race 7

(2) GALLANT SEELSTER moves back to door number two where he was very sharp for second money two starts back; ready for action. (4) COLONIAL ROAD has good late kick and could make some noise in the final stretch drive. (5) NATURAL LEDA came up the cones to nail down the victory last time out.

Race 8

(2) GLOBAL REVOULTION closed strongly to miss the score by a half length. Gelding has the ability to get back into the winning groove. (6) SOUTHERN CROSS was an easy winner in his last trip to the post; player again. (1) HILLMAN just got up for win honors recently.

Race 9

(7) DOUBLEDAY Gelding is clearly knocking at the door and just missed glory by 3/4 length and with the right trip he can mow these down at his best. (6) LUCK O THE IRISH moves back to a flat mile where he got the job done two starts ago. (1) MADMAN HALL is back on the rail where he made his November 1st start a winning one.

Race 10

(1) LETTUCERIPRITA A is now on the fence and that should help this gelding return to the winner's circle for his 5th score of the year. (2) LUCKY MAN was sent down the road in his latest for the victory. (3) DASHPEDIA Pennsylvania invader should appreciate the half-mile oval; watch out.

# 6 MATTAMERICAN 5/2
# 4 LIMELIGHT 9/2
# 2 JUICE HANOVER 4/1

Hey, listen up! MATTAMERICAN is the wise wager if you like to win. The number crunching team knows that speed is very important in harness racing. This horse will unlock our way to a nice win. This entrant looks very good considering the high class numbers. Don't throw out of any exotics. Many expert selectors will recognize the outstanding TrackMaster Speed Rating in the last race. Stacks up against any horse in this field. LIMELIGHT - Don't let a horse with such a formidable winning percentage like this be passed over. Starters win from this hole at Pocono Downs with better than average regularity, suggesting this solid wager. JUICE HANOVER - This contender achieved a competitive TrackMaster Speed Rating in last race. Looks to be going well to come right back. The 2 post sports a much better than average win percent at Pocono Downs.

Turf Paradise - Race #5 - Post: 2:34pm - Claiming - 5.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $7,000 Class Rating: 80

Rating:

#5 FUNNY SMOKE (ML=5/2)

FUNNY SMOKE - Mare's finish positions keep getting better with each race. Maybe today's the day. When a sprinter is back in a race less than 10 days after her last outing, it generally means she's fit. This mare is in good condition, having run a strong race on November 4th, finishing second. I like this mare. Has the highest earnings per start in this one.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 WILD IN PRIVATE (ML=2/1), #1 PANDORA RIDGE (ML=4/1), #2 SPECIAL MEMORIES (ML=6/1),

WILD IN PRIVATE - She showed not much at all in the last race. PANDORA RIDGE - No picnic to bet on any thoroughbred in a short distance affair at 4/1 when she hasn't shown any successful endeavors in sprints in the last 60 days. Difficult to keep chasing this kind of 'bridesmaid' horse. SPECIAL MEMORIES - In any contest of 5 furlongs, I like to bet on a contender that has been sharp in short distance events recently.

GUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - FUNNY SMOKE - A tried and true angle. Take a sprinter in the third and fourth start after a layoff. That's the time when they peak.
