lebron deserved the mvp. and the all star game is like any other game. these pointless threads about "effort" are a waste of time. and why is it always the nba where the players are judged by effort, what about hockey or the stiff hitting .230 in the majors.

they need to make the game worth something. these guys are making 125 million minimum and you expect them to play becuz they were voted? they could care less.

Yes i did, did you? Ray Allen scored 14 points in the final 3 minutes of a tight game. Besides Lebron's dunks, he couldnt make it past half court in the last 5 minutes. Lebron had a great game, but Ray Allen took over when it counted.

Making 3 pointers in an NBA All-star game is like catching balls over the middle at the Pro-Bowl ... NO DEFENSE. Whoopdee shit , Allen made a few WIDE OPEN 3 pointers at end of the game ... DID ANYBODY SEE JAMES DUNK WITH 55 SECONDS LEFT ... Over Nowitski and Stoutmire!! Now that was impressive ....James deserved every bit of the MVP award. Almost a triple double and clearly the East leader on the floor.

I dont like lebron that much but to say him or howard deserve the mvp less than ray allen is ridiculous. He had a good three minutes making open threes. So What James almost had a triple double at the forward position.

Also stop complaining guys. The nba allstar games with jordan, bird, magic and other players that cared is over. And why should they care. Nobody goes to an allstar weekend for the game anyway. Just the parties and festivities. We sport fans are spoiled as hell.
