Opening fight Escobedo or something like that knocks out this kid Vargas with 3 consecutive knock outs in less than 15 secs (the knock out spree is what lasted about 15 secs) fight went over a minute. Vargas kid had zero sting on his punches but he was winning the entire round before the flurry of knockouts


official time was 2.57

I also prefer hopkins wins by tko, ko or DQ, I dont want a 12 rounder (as long as it ends in a draw i will be fine though)

HBO should really look into HDTV, can have us pay 50 bucks for a fight and it aint even in HD!!!

As predicted, Vernon knocks out this kid Rios....Funny thing was Vernon hit the kid with a hot combo, the kid stayed on his feet for about 7 seconds, then the punches he had recieved started to sting him, when vernon came in for another combo and the kid actually took a live dive just so he could catch some wind...


Kid is given the count, he gets up, recieves same combo again, and this time the kid takes another dive and does not get up

why do the 100 pound guys always fight it out to the last round? where do they get the capacity to take all those punches?

I still say they should give the little buzzards H-bombs before the fight.
That way they with fight it out in the first few rounds, if not, we get to see their little hearts explode right out of their chests!!!

(H-bomb is about 3 to 4 straight shots of vodka taken one after another and then washed down immediately with one can of Red bull...For better results, mix the red bull with the vodka and drink immediately......
Warning... Do not attempt this before engaging in strenous physical activity....IT HAS AND WILL CAUSE HEART ATTACKS WITH POTENTIALLY DEADLY RESULTS......
But light version is ok for those of you who love the night life.
