THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS WILL WIN...

THE COIN TOSS

***Patriots win coin toss -105***

*The NFC has won the coin flip the past 14 straight Super Bowls. The chances of that happening are .006 percent. I'm going with the "due/probability factor on the only true 50/50 bet on the card"

BOL fellas!

Adding to the above prop

Prop bet #2:

***Giants to receive opening kickoff -280***

Yes, a ton of juice but there is a reason why. I found this online: The Patriots have either deferred or lost the toss on a fairly consistent basis over the last four years. According to ESPN, including playoff games, New England has chosen to defer the last 29 times it has won the opening coin toss. The last (and only) time New England chose to receive the opening kick since the rule change was Week 1 in 2008 against the Chiefs -- the game Tom Brady suffered a knee injury and missed the rest of the season. (ESPN also notes that from Week 1 of 2008 to Week 13 of 2011, the Giants chose to receive on every opening coin toss they won. That’s 30 straight regular-season and playoff games in which they chose to receive.) Presuming the Patriots either lose or defer, that sets them up for one of their traditional moves -- putting themselves in scoring position at the end of the first half and getting the ball to start the second half. That seven- to 10-point swing has been a big factor for them over the course of the regular season.

Adding:

***Coin toss: Tails -105***

Head won the past 3 years. Going with the law of averages and hope tails is due. Not sound reasoning, but what the hell. Only -105 juice and a true 50/50 bet.

Adding:

***First play of the game: Rush no 2st down +150***

As seen above, I'm expecting the Giants to get the ball first. Should see a running play i.e. run the ball and control the clock/keep the ball away from that potent Pats offense.

***No score first 7 min 30 sec +200***

For the reasons stated above.

***Overtime: Yes +650***

Why not? +650 and may very well be a close game. Worth taking a shot at, in my opinion.
