This is final as we do not go into Sept with this chase (due to the roster expansions). Really, we should've went 27-0 but I made a decision to take the Angels in that lost series against Houston. The total in game 1 was 9 at some shops and 8.5 at many others, but I went ahead and played it anyway. Since then I have decided the total as well as the line must meet the criteria at all places in order to qualify as a play. Otherwise, it was a fun season and the chase still seems to hold up. Thanks! It's been a busy year for me as I took a new job and have been swamped. My big plays didn't pan out this year but I just haven't had enough time to focus as I have in the past. Hopefully, we all make a little dough for the rest of baseball season and this football season as well! BOL :toast:

I discovered this thread on your hybrid chase system for MLB, and its great. I know you mentioned that beginning in September, due to the roster expansions, the system can't be trusted. I ask because today's Rangers/Angels opening game meets the criteria for the chase, and I'd like to bet on it. How might the roster expansions of either or both the Rangers and the Angels actually influence the system detrimentally? Wouldn't the line correctly account for and reflect any changes in the respective lineups such that your system criteria would apply in this game as well? It would be great to hear your thoughts!
