NCAAB Arkansas vs Miami-Florida over 11 (+100) 5dimes

Both teams are in a win or go home position so both teams will probably do everything in their power to put some offense on the board today. Even though it's a big ballpark in Omaha, the weather today is actually blowing slighting out to right which should favor some runs today. I fully expect the ball to carry. To make the over bet even more compelling, Miami-Florida is coming off an embarrassing 15-3 loss to their rivals (Florida). Chances are they're itching to get the bats going today and I'm under the belief they absolutely will because the pitcher Arkansas is sending out there today (Keaton McKinney) just hasn't been good lately. He is one of the SEC's top freshman WHEN HEALTHY but he's just not, not now. He's being forced out there today because Arkansas really has nobody else.

NHL PROP Steven Stamkos (TB) shots on goal over 3 (-130) 5dimes

If Tampa Bay has any shot at bringing this series back home for a game 7, this man has to be involved. There's no ifs ands buts about it. All those missed chances at the end of game 5 probably had him salivating for game 6 tonight. Stamkos has to show because we all know Tampa's 3rd and 4th lines pose as much threat at scoring as I do scoring with Mila Kunis.

D-Backs at Angels rl -1.5 (+150) Robbie Ray vs Jered Weaver

Weaver is far superior at home than he is on the road. Fading the Ray train.

Stamkos only 1 SOG but if missed shots counted, it would have cashed. With the amount of money he's making, he has to do better than that. Guy was a ghost and the Blackhawks deserved to win. Congrats to them, Stanley Cup Champs!

The one guy I feared tonight of course had to deliver (Goldschmidt 3 run HR). What a beast. .364 as of now and we're in the middle of June. Ridiculous.

ATP Lukas Rosol +3.5 games won (-125) vs Gael Monfils

Neither play prefers this surface (grass) but Monfils especially.

ATP Jerzy Janowicz -3.5 games won (-115) vs Pablo Cuevas 5dimes

For as bad has Janowicz has been this season, he has a clear cut advantage today playing on this surface (grass). Given Cuevas is a clay specialist and today will be his 1st grass test of the season, odds are likely Janowicz powers his way to a cover and victory here.

LSU -280 slowly on the rise at 5dimes. Debating deeply whether or not to fire, whether or not this opportunity presents enough edge to unload. Some may argue LSU should be favored by a lot more because of the way the Vanderbilt game ended (from a psychological standpoint). One would assume Fullerton is just deflated. Then again, I don't want to be stuck holding a juiced up ticket being down by 2 runs heading into the 9th hoping for a walk off home run either. It's definitely gambling. Currently, Run line is -170.

ATP Andreas Seppi vs Tommy Haas over 23 games won (-107) 5dimes *** 3 units ****

This match should go 3 sets. Don't have much time though. Busy as shit this morning, running around trying to see what the highest limits I can get on LSU are. Books are timid.

Haas got his butt whooped in the 2nd set. I know he's old but it's not like he was going up against a young pup in Seppi either. Sad to see especially in front of his home fans. Janowicz powered through Cuevas though.

I'm going to be on LSU moneyline for the limit across the board. In the process of putting them in now. No other choice but to play the limit at different books because I'm not taking a chance of getting an account suspended or terminated because I bet LSU for the limit multiple times at the same book. Some probably know first hand how much they despise gamblers who do that. I have to place the bets at different books because it's just the way things have to be in this business.

NCAAB LSU -275 vs Cal State Fullerton 5dimes ***10 units***
LSU -280 vs Cal State Fullerton bookmaker ***10 units***

One of the most interesting things about sports gambling is the topic of risk vs reward. If you were holding $5,550 right now and I told you, you would need to risk ALL of it to win only a couple thousand ($2,000), I would expect some harsh words and a devil glare with a look of confusion from you. Even though I got away with one with Vanderbilt yesterday, this game should and more than likely will turn out to be much different given everything that has played out. Much different and here's why.

A walk off 2 run home run by Jeren Kendall for Vanderbilt in the bottom of the 9th to defeat Fullerton 4-3 yesterday was a back breaker for Fullerton (quite literally). The game initially was suspended in the 6th due to lightning/rain on June 14th when Fullerton was up 3-0 while it resumed and finished up late in the afternoon yesterday. Not only does Fullerton have severe psychological problems in regards to feeling robbed because the game was called (a game they most likely would have won), they got hit twice as hard giving up that 2 run walk off by a player they count on big time (their closer). He was stretched to the limit and probably won't be available to pitch today and shouldn't either. You see, what the lightning/rain delay did to Fullerton wasn't just psychologically damaging but it was PHYSICALLY damaging as well. Playing 2 days instead of just 1 heading into a do or die elimination game today against one of the best freshman pitchers (Alex Lange) in the nation is is pretty BIG DEAL. Actually, it's a really big deal and there's a reason why I believe this moneyline should be a lot higher than in the -280's. People might question LSU's mindset after getting embarrassed by TCU (10-3) but TCU's offense is the real deal. They've been running HOT for the past month. The big loss to TCU just isn't as big as people make it out to be. If anybody is equipped to bounce back, it's a team like LSU.

The psychological aspect combined with the physical fatigue will send Fullerton over the edge and they just might get destroyed today in Omaha. Seriously, they just might. Given all of the above, the risk is worth the reward in this spot (in my opinion).

As with gambling, nothing is ever guarantee but this is a spot bet that should be worth placing. Don't ever risk what you can't afford though. Never.

I will not tell a lie, that game was a lot closer than it really had to be. LSU should have put a whole lot more on the board. They should thank Alex Lange which the game ball should definitely go to for keeping Fullerton in check after the rough 1st inning. You'll rarely see big money plays like this from me so I wouldn't get used to it. Just thought LSU was very much under priced given all the doubt surrounding Fullerton and it just warranted a big money play. It did get to -335 at one point at 5dimes as well. 2 bets but the same team, I'll just count it as one win in my tracking.

Indians at Cubs under 6.5 (-120) 5dimes Trevor Bauer vs Jake Arrieta

Even though he hasn't faced the Cubs before, you really have to figure with the wind blowing in at 10 mph or slightly more, that Trevor Bauer is in a position to bounce back just fine after his horrible start against Seattle last week (career high 6 ER's). We all know what we're going to get from Jake Arrieta.

It's not easy and comfortable risking that type of juice, anybody who says it is, is a liar. I must stress it's not the norm for me. Cashing a -275/-280 college baseball team on June 16th 2015 does not automatically make me a better sports gambler. The situation presented itself and it paid off. I move on just like I would if it didn't cash although if it didn't, I would definitely have more trouble sleeping tonight.

Indians 6 Cubs 0 Bauer pitches well and Cavs hit enough shots at the end to send the total over. Warriors win the NBA championship last night by the score of 105-97 and rightfully so.

ATP Tomas Berdych -5 games won (-125) vs Borna Coric 5dimes

Berdych has been inconsistent of late and even though Coric is an up and comer, this surface (grass) causes him problems.
