Here's the truth about this issue, I don't look to the media or some politician or some fact checker for info. All of them are inherently biased, including fact checkers
1) Bill Clinton passed the law that set up the detention centers in question
2) Since then people have been detained and "caged', you just never saw pictures of them
3) Often times, children were separated from their parents.
4) Michelle Obama never visited one of those centers in the 8 years (the point being made in this thread) her husband was President. There was no outcry, there were no tears.
5) So what changed? one whole month ago Jeff Sessions announced he would increase prosecutions of people trying to enter this country illegally. When the parents are accused of a crime and standing trial, they're separated from their children since the children are not incarcerated. All of a sudden liberals and democrats are appalled by the very circumstances they ignored for 24 years, and they start using pictures and stories that predated Trump as proof of how wicked Trump is.
This is just an extension of the resist resist resist movement, it's just more of the same bullshit they've been doing since they started chanting "Not my President" or "Never Trump" or "Be Ungovernable" or the previously mentioned "Resist Resist Resist"
Many of us have had enough of the lies and the hate and the media bias. Many of us love a growing economy and many of us want to secure our borders as we advocate LEGAL IMMIGRATION.
