Oklahoma -3 -110
This game will be won down low. Rebounding should be the key to this game. While UAB's weakness is in their frontcourt, that happens to be Oklahoma's strength. UAB is thin up front. They don't have the bodies to bang with big, tough, physical teams such as OU. Just their last 2 games against Old Dominion, and Arizona they were out rebounded by -8, and -14 respectively. That is not going to cut it as OU has out rebounded each and every opponent by at least +5 rebounds each game. 2 of them games they were at least +12 on the glass. Being able to control the glass will neutralize UAB's great guard play. It will limit their 2nd chance points, while giving them a strong advantage on the offensive glass. By holding such a rebounding advantage it could give them the possibilty of getting up at least 12 more shots throughout the game. Now i'm not a math major, but anything you are taking a number of shots more than your opponent it should be benificial. UAB knows they have no answer for Blake Griffin, but if they try to sag down on him, it will leave Willie Warren open on the outside who has been hot his last two games from 3 point range. Over a 40 minute game I think OU's advantage down low will take a toll. Blake and Tyler Griffin should control the paint and get a win
