Could have been a huge day yesterday, but 2nd half collapses did me in. Good thing about basketball is you can get right back at it.

The New Mexico State game doesn't make much sense to me. You think home court is a 14 point advantage?

I like the card... especially the Wright State play. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet but probably will soon. If you decide to add a road team to your card, what are your thoughts on taking BYU -2.0 at Tulsa?

excellent point

I have a little bit different idea of home court then most people though. When I think of home court advantage I think of the familiarity of being able to play on the same baskets you practice on. Just think back to when you were young, you would always feel more comfortable and shoot better at your "homecourt" whether it be your driveway or the local park you played at. I know personally I was a shooter, and in high school and college I was a few % points higher at home then the road. Sure the screaming fans, and the momentum gained by them will be missed some what during xmas break, but that is just part of the cbb home court advantage. if it were football i think it would be a bigger deal, but since it is basketball, and the enviornment physically comes into play, there is no denying the familiarity of shooting on the rims you practice on so often. it should increase your shooting % a few points.

that's just my take. thanks for the reminder and GL!

I would be on Tulsa if they didn't lay an egg when I backed them against Oklahoma. They have some talent, and can compete with the Cougs at home.

homedawg,
fyi, the USM game is on a neutral court in Biloxi, MS. It is a not a home game. Although biloxi is closer to Hattiesburg than it is to oxford, more ole miss fans will be at this game than USM fans. Southern Miss fans could give a rats ass about the basketball team and in Mississippi, if you didnt go to USM, then you either root for ole miss or miss state, whether you went to college or not. With ole miss playing down here, there will be a lot of fan support for them. I hope this does not kill your play. I just wanted to let you know.
FWIW, i like USM tonight as well, was just hoping to get plus points instead though. Not sure if i'll play them, gl tonight man

What do you think of Purdue and Illinois over 124? UTEP might stop ZBryant with Kareem Cooper

Tend to stay away from pars now a days, but when I feel this strong I feel at very worse I go 2-1 and win a little bit of money
