I know Monday's game haven't even tipped yet, but I already laid the wood in a game for tomorrow. Should end up being a 7 unit play at least. Indiana St has been improving a great deal, and were getting some good value because of Bradley's hot start.

5 Units

Indiana St +2.5 -110

Most likely will add 2 units either on the ML, or spread. See where the line goes. Will get into detail about it tomorrow.

He was a huge reason they were making progress. i was wondering why the line was favoring Bradley. I didn't catch that Marshall got hurt until I got into capping the game. The Hulman Center is still one of the toughest places to play in the Valley, and Bradley came back down to earth over the weekend. This is more of a gut feeling that anything we will see statistically. i'm still hoping they will carry some of that momentum they gained even in Marshall's absence. Also if by some miracle he does play (highly unlikely since he is listed as doubtful, and hamstring injuries are a bitch) then getting this 2.5 is basically stealing. If Marshall was playing tonight this would be a 8 unit play.

I really like Bradley in this one, especially if Marshall doesn't play.
Most people think of this as a trap game but I can see Bradley blowing them out of the building.

They shot unusually well against Illinois St. What have they done all year besides beat Illinois St?

Bradley just saw them beat Illinois St., so they will not sleep on this game.

Bradley is 10-4 ATS against Indiana St and coming off a loss ... I see them motivated for this game!

good luck with your plays

Good luck with the Indiana St. play.

Looking at Kentucky +6.5 at Tennessee especially if Smith is out.

I have to disagree about a trap. I think this number is just about right. I think Ind St would have been -2 with Marshall. I am almost certain he will not be available Tuesday night. I have some very good reasons for backing the Sycamores here. i will get into it in depth tomorrow, but I already see the line dropped to -1.5 -2 in most places. You gotta remember just 5 games ago Bradley was looked at as a middle of the pack Valley team.

I also would play the Indy State side. With Marshall out I probably will stay away but no chance of me playing Bradley, I think the public will end up backing the wrong side of this one. Ball State would have been a nice play but their big man on the boards is out, now I think they make a great fade but probably laying off. Evansville is still up in the air, maybe something I will get on later but Northern Iowa is lighting it up of late. Only play here at this point is the Seminoles, I think they win this game by 6 or 7 points, they won't need any help to beat NC State. Good luck tonight gents.

Did he get hurt again?

I remember seeing him questionable for Saturday but he played and had a great game.

Hey bud you know I always respect your plays. How do you say a team that is 1-3 in their last 4 is making progress?

Im on the fence on this one. Their last win was another over time and we all know thats it is anybodys game in OT. Man, but last game they shot lights out. Thinking it will continue here? I mean everybody was sinking shots against Ill St.

When was the last time Ind St has won back to back games? Did they even do it last year?

Good luck on your play

He played and had a monster game vs. Georgia. Site I have listed him as doubtful and didn't update after the game. Still like Kentucky plus the points, but not as much.

Kind of jumped the gun a little last night. Could have got a better number if I held off, but that's the chances you take. Anyways I still like it and going to add 1 more unit,

1 Unit

A couple of questions HD. One, I really like Tulsa tonight, and that seems like a play that would be right up your alley. Just want your thoughts on that. I also like Ohio St. to lay the wood to Indiana, but something is keeping me from pulling the trigger. Do you see IU staying in this one? Thanks.

Indiana St +2.5/+3.5

I do not expect Marshall to play, and he has been downgraded to doubtful. I do still like Indiana a lot in this spot. Even though this season the Hulman Center hasn't been as kind to them they still hold a strong home court advantage. They went 12-2 last season, and have showed they are still dangerous after leading Evansville by double digits for most of the game before falling, and then beating the best team in the league Illinois St their last time out. Even with their best player out they have still been improving as a team. They started valley play with a surprising road win over No Iowa, which was followed up with a home loss to Creighton, and then the Evansville game, which they looked much better. They then got the Redbirds in a game where there improvements finally showed. They have managed to turn their rebounding deficiencies around. After struggling earlier in the season they have out rebounded 3 of the 5 valley teams to start the season, including their last 2, drake 41-28, and Illinois St 38-33. They also do something better than Bradley that most people will find surprising. While Bradley is thought of as the 3 point shooting team it is Indiana St that shoots the 3 at a 36.7% clip at home. Bradley only shoots 27.8% from 3 on the road, and 41.3% overall. In those games Bradley is 4-3 and only averages 64.6. They also turn the ball over at a much higher rate compared to Indiana St 11.9 to/g for Indiana St, and 15 to/g for Bradley. The Sycamores also held one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the league, Evansville, without a 3 pointer for the ENTIRE game. I think Bradley is getting a little too much credit for their hot start in league play. Before that start they were looked at middle of the pack at best. They too are without their best returning player, Andrew Warren. The Braves have also struggled for parts of the season on defense. Before league play started they were a below average defensive team. They did make some improvements, but their defensive woes showed again in their last game, a loss against Creighton. Out of conference they were just 1-3 on the road, with their only win being a 4 point road win over Florida Gulf Coast. I really think we are getting a good number because of the Braves hot start. Indiana St has showed improvement as of late and expect them to build on their win against Illinois St last time out. Bradley has a match up with perennial league power So Illinois this weekend and can possibly catch them looking ahead. I think the Sycamore steal another one tonight

i would stay far far away from Indiana on the road. they may be a play in the home dog role but that is it. Also I can see Tulsa getting completely shut down on offense. Memphis is too strong on defense and Tulsa just doesn't have the playmakers to score consistently. I think Memphis rolls a little like Oklahoma did.
