here are some quick thoughts on my plays
Minnesota - I like the Twins left handed bats against any right handed pitchers. them and the phils hold the best advantage in baseball. i am also willing to look past Liriano's wildness in his first start and look at how he pitched in Winter ball and Spring training. I think he needed to work the first game jitters out and will own a weaker Boston lineup
Philadelphia/Washington Over 9.5 - Everyone saw what happened last night. i expect more runs today against Scott Olsen who just got called up from AAA, and JA Haap. The Nats have an under rated lineup, and the Phils just hit
Anaheim +165 - You can't overlook Kazmir's track record against the Yankees. He has had more success over his career against the Yankees then most, holding the Yankees to a 2.67 era over nearly 100 innings. Part of the reason is b/c of the mostly dominant power lefty bats of the Yanks. I like the Angels to build of yesterdays win, and keep it going
Atlanta/SD Under 7.5 - 2 solid pitchers here, 1 well known name, and 1 soon to be. Always like unders at Petco Park involving the Pads. Both starters were sharp in their opening start
Toronto -122 - More of a play against Garcia right here. Right now he is just an inning eater. They don't expect him to go out and shut down the opposition. They are just looking for 5, hopefully 6 innings and turn it over to the pen. The Jays have been hot to start the season, and like Eveland more.
Los Angelas Dodgers - Kurodia had one of the best opening day starts in baseball. The DBacks still can't hit, and you get the Dodgers basically a pk at home. Haren hasn't looked sharp to start the season. I like the value.
