Well yesterday couldn't have been worse. Gave all back almost all my profits from a great Saturday. Going to have days like those....

Kind of mad I held off last night and missed +11, but I will still take almost double digits. SD lost the heart to their team last game when Brandon Johnson ruptured his Achilles tendon. To say that is a devastating blow is an under statement. SD is already lacking offensive fire power due to injuries to Trumaine Johnson and Clinton Houston. The loss of Johnson is the death blow. SD has been an early season disappointment as it is. I can't see how SD comes out and puts forth a strong effort. All of a sudden SD's back court is very weak. Now defense can concentrate on stopping Pomare. San Jose St already boasts a strong front court with Tim Pierce and Chris Oaks. They should neutralize the SD front court. I just don't see this game getting into the 60's so 9.5 should be plenty to cover the spread against a team who's season just ended prematurely.

I understand your reasoning and can't claim to have a side. Having seen Lamar a couple times (since for some reason they are espn full court's favorite team - not that I usually watch for more than a few minutes) I will say their offense seems to somehow be pretty inefficient despite having four guys scoring double digits a night (and they don't push the rock that much either)...Lousiville's defensive numbers are through the roof so far - some pretty anemic offenses true - just don't think Lamar is any better on offense really than any of the teams they've played, from what I've seen. As you say Louisville can pretty much name the number, but you never know - their offense isn't exactly running on all cylinders right now anyway so maybe Lamar covers the 27.
