Hard to back Hirsh in his first start in almost a year. Hasn't been a world beater in AAA. Almost seems like the over is a better play at 9.5. Of course when you take Nady out of Pittsburgh's line up it makes you wonder. On the other hand they have no Capps and no Marte now so their bullpen is really short on guys that can get outs. I think I just talked myself into the over. Colorado has been hot hope they outslug them like you say BOL.
more playing against Snell. He was one of my favorite pitchers the last few years but i think he was overused thus the shit year he is having this yr. he may even be pitching through an injury. all i know something is wrong with him, he's not right. with that being said a red hot colorado offense is the last thing he needs to see. Hirsh is a serviceable pitcher and will grind out a few inning while the offense goes to work. (hence the play on the over).

you know it does look to easy, but when I cap games I play towards the hot streaks. baseball is a game of streaks and I hop on streaks, and never bet against. Could they lose tonight? For sure, but I have a made a lot of $$ on them the past few weeks and going to continue to ride them until they cool off. BOL tonight
I don't mind backing Hirsh. The talent is there. The Pirates lost Nady's bat and have to question their psyche after basically tossing aside another season. I usually don't mess around with team totals or other exotic bets. I am confident with the Rocks and the over. Like I said before I have made a lot of money on them the past few weeks and will ride them until they cool off.
Cool deal. It's the question mark about Hirsh that really makes feel uneasy about COL, although I agree w/ your assessment. But if we are certain that Snell will get tagged by this COL offense, it just seems like the over 4.5 runs seems logical. In 5 of Snell's last 6 starts, the opposing team has scored 7,5,11,8,16 runs. Only once did they fail to score 4 runs. COL has not scored less than 5 runs in their last 10 games. Of couse, I probably just jinxed myself and they'll probably win 4-2 tonight. But hopefully, COL scores a ton and we both win.
