Stl - Like them at home against a team who cannot hit. Cards have underrated offense against a pitcher who doesn't have the stuff he once did.
Fla - Nolasco 45:4 K:B ratio last 5 games. Will continue to ride the hot hand.
Balt - Baltimore is still fighting. Guthrie gutsy pitcher. Det still inconsistent at the plate. Like the O's at home.
Pit/Col Over - Snell doesn't have it this yr. Could be injury , but just gets shelled on the road. Rusch isn't going to shut anyone down either, esp at Coors
LAD - Will continue to fade the dbacks against above average pitching.
Texas - How can you not like theses bats? I would also give Milwood a slight pitching advantage.
Mets - Riding the hot team. Been good to me the past 2 weeks. Feeling it at the moment and I will ride it out
LAD/Ariz Under 8.5 - Neither team can hit. Kudroa can completely shut down the dbacks and Davis is crafty enough to slow down the dodgers.
Seattle - I'll take King Felix at home laying small juice anyday

here are a few tidbits. 1 obviously being fading Millwood 2night...couple of other tidbits are these: Texas on the road at night facing lefties is just 2-8 and averaging 3.1 runs/game in those games. Millwood has a career 0-5 record facing the Twins with a 5.86 ERA. Perkins won his only start against the Rangers this year with a 2.86 ERA in an 11-4 victory. The Texas bullpen is one of the worst in MLB and their ERA is 4.98. On the flip side, Minny's bullpen at home has a ERA of 1.99. Minny hits right handed starters best, and Texas doesnt fare nearly as well vs left-handed starters....I am ALL OVER this 1 my friends.
the bulpen's are the one aspect of this game that scares me. I however feel strongly towards the Rangers.
Texas actually hits better against lefties .290 then the Twins do righties .280. The last 7 games Texas is hitting over .320 while Minn is hitting .290. I think Milwood can take the lack of bullpen out of play as he has gone at least 5 innings in his last 9 starts. 5 of those starts have been greater than 6 innings. I also think CJ Wilson is a very good closer, where he will not hurt them. Perkins ERA is actually 1 run higher at home with a higher WHIP. Taking all that into account I like my chances on the dog here.
