Are you still betting there?

LOL! Did someone say stupid question? The site has been down for weeks, so of course he is giving them a decent amount of action daily.

Sorry guys, for being late with my reaction.

The fact is that the site has been down for some weeks now. Therefore no bets with them. The money is still there, but which opportunities do I have to contact them? I do not know.

Not that I know of right now Oers....Buzz seems to be the only one who knows anything about these guys right now.

This has been brought up here & at MW, and you are the first person to step up as having an account there.

Getting stiffed sucks-and I don't know if that's the case here, but you have to be crazy to play at fringe books right now.

Oers - let me see if anyone here knows anything about them from when they first got here. This is crazy for players, it's tough to outrun the expenses when you throw a laydown in once a year or so. Also in worse case scenario I can get a book to offer you up some of "bail-out" plan with a rollover to try and help you out. That's assuming nothing develops on the HomeBets end which at this point I wouldn't hold my breathe for. Thanks.

Oers,
This site is probably your best bet since they promoted Homebets until the end. Well, actually way past the end but who's counting?

I could give you contact info on them but you would just be wasting time and money making international calls to people who probably know but will pretend not to.

Sorry about your loss. It was pretty widely reported this was a house of cards ready to fall. SBR downgraded them back in May. I hate to see anyone get stuck holding the bag though.

Was there any truth to the rumour that they were owned by Corona Beer ?

On 28 June a Neteller withdrawal request (750 USD) was processed smoothly. Homebets was an advertiser on theprescription. Thus I had no worries about them in spite of the reports from SBR.

At the moment nothing is left at Neteller. Therefore I am not able to submit a withdrawal request. I hope that the people behind Homebets are so honest to give my money back or to restart with betting activities.

Hal,
The Corona report was Stings? I never heard that mentioned from any of my sources.

Oers,
Take Pat up on his offer.

Pat,
Times like these are when I miss you not being on this side of the fence. Luckily there are not many that got stiffed because...well, I wont even go there. All I can say is the Rx ignored the warning signs and was willing to send players to another house-of-cards book, a la NAB.

I know, I know "there were no slow-pays. We are not a watchdog. Players should read between the lines" ect.

You were good at holding the Rx accountable back in your day. Nowdays a Rx book with known problems simply dissapears and not a word. No long posts, no desk pounding, its just another tits up Rx book kind of day.

Can you send me your information, acct #, name, balance and everything else. At the very least I will provide you with some options you might be interested in.

Buzz - good job on your end buddy, for not accepting a quarter in ad dollars you do fantastic. You may have saved some by posting your warning though so the props are for real.

Dear Patrick,

Thank for your offer. But how can I contact you? You may get the details, but I do not want to put them on the forum.
