I think a good question is when should the laying of 1 run instead of the laying of 1 1/2 runs be used. I like to look at the total of the game. If it 7 or under I would go to the -1 but as in the Boston game the total is 8 1/2 now so the should the 1 1/2 lay be used. With the home team being at a -110 favorite , the lay -1 1/2 should be around +170-75. Pinny has +189 so getting some value laying the 1 1/2 with Cleveland.

New Venture: (+7.31 units) or (+$1462) in 3 days..
starting balance: $20,000.. current balance: $21,462...
each unit is played for $200 risk..

todays games in the cws were great,, 2 more wins, runs the Dog record to:

7-3 (+8.49 units) (+$1698).. couldnt ask for much more..

mlb home teams still doing well..

I have entered into this new phase and things are going quite well... i probably wont update this much anymore, to anyone following the home team system, good luck to you...

SSI, what did you get as your MLB home dog total today? i missed out on modays lines but today i got them at -364ish... is this what you got for Tuesdays plays? I just want to make sure I am getting somewhere near your numbers.

that was probably your mistake..

Yanks were (-2.5) winner
Wsox were (-2.5) (+1.50) winner..

other winners were: atl (+1.96) for me, LAA (+1.13), Pitt (+1.55), Cinn (+1.20), not looking at my figures right now but my memory usually serves me pretty well..

add those up and its: 9.00-8.34 = (-0.66 units)..

i think these figures were real close..

Based on the lines I got I was -1.26 for the day. The difference was I had ChiW -1.5 +101 compared to your -2.5 +150

have invested in the home dog theory for years now.


it is always a winner year after year.

be careful though, it will average from 2500 to 7000 @ 100 a pop. would hate to see you start bumping up your investment and piss money away. i did it 2 years ago.

yea thats it .. wsox were +101 on the rl not the 2.5 .. why did you take the 2.5? -2 wasnt paying +$ ?
