Journey, A final point on Florida Gators v. Seminoles.....Gators deserve that game, they won it...I wish Foley would rethink the Zook firing...if I was a student-athlete for Zook I would transfer to FSU or South Carolina just as a statement. I wish they would reconsider the Zook position.....You may or may not realize how much influence Boosters have on the Prez who tells the AD what to do.

Zook has done a good job.....I was happy to see no fights for the first time in 4 years at mid-field.

It is a real shame...Fla one year away...Probably pre-season top 5-6 next year... Speaking of poor calls Fla was robbed vs Tennessee!

The one time oakland had their way with Pitt. the 1976-77 AFC Championship game...The Steelers played that game without both starting runningbacks and got trounced or it may have been different...

The '76 Steelers team allowed a phenomenal 26 points over the final 9 regular season games to be in peak position for the playoffs, injuries put them in a deep hole early that year, that may have been the best of the decade but no one remembers.

Journey, I remember those days well....I was under driving age and we always had to come to Atlanta to visit my Uncles ( where I live now,) the Raiders always lost to the Steelers; thats why I love Bradshaw and Howie Long on Fox. Thats what sports should be about, kick your ass on the field and buy you dinner tomorrow. Don't tell Lester hayes and the Steel Curtain ( who were they?)

Hayes was more towards the end of the great rivalry..it was Gene Atkinson (The Assasin) who forced Swann into early retirement...man those were the days!

Gene Atkinson...man those were the days....wiffle ball...Pink Floyd The Wall....and does that girl like me?.....Sounds like the start of a great article.

Give me the first two sentences for an article to make peace between the NBA and the fans; the most violent sport is pugilism and the fans stay out of the ring, now we add a few beers and we can beat a players ass.

You are Mods on the most popular offshore wagering site....

The best articles are captured by the first two sentences....give me a few..we're up late.

In wiffle ball you are out when you get hit by the ball.......after you hit it...our rules in Port st. Lucie, FL...you get six pitches ( if it hits the air conditioner its a strike) if you don't swing and I miss the AC 4 times its a walk. Next batter hits it to me and I hit you with the "wiffle ball" your ass is outa there. It was a science when I was 9-11 years old.

We should play at the buffet after lunch at the Nugget....General could be the Ump....and Ken the Commish of Wiffle Ball......lets play golf.

What I meant Journey....If you had to write an article about what happened in Motown last Friday; after all we know now, what would your first two sentences be?

J'man In the Summer we played hard ball...until we hit the ball over the "Hibiscus" bushes; yikes that meant death (by the bush owners coming to visit my parents)....which was less than death actually.....so we moved home plate 45 dgerees....and a homerun was over the Gardinia plant..which meant a visit to my grand parents house. Then we decided to try golf...the vacant lot. (now there is a phrase that brings memories to every kid, "The Vacant Lot.")

Ok Glaken. Ask and shall you receive.

The people of the steppe created several games that are played on horseback, sometimes at wild speeds. Kokpar is a little like polo, but the teams on horseback compete to grab a headless goat's carcass. They try to drag it into the opponent's goal. Sometimes up to 1,000 horsemen join the fray on the wide-open plains.
Girls and boys play a galloping game called kyz kuu ("overtake the girl"). A girl on horseback races away from a male rider as fast as she can. As he tries to approach her, she strikes at him with a whip. If she reaches the finish line before him, she can take another few swipes at him. If he reaches the finish line first, she rewards him with a kiss.
In winter, Kazakhstanis enjoy cross-country skiing, skating and hockey. They are proud of their national hockey team and of Vladimir Smirnov, an Olympic cross-country skiing medallist. Soccer is a favourite sport for youngsters and adults alike. Many people also enjoy basketball, volleyball and gymnastics. And one in particular,Borat Sagdiyev, really likes to oil himself up and go out in search of young Kazakhi boys to make the wrestle with them.In summer, mountain-climbing and carp fishing are popular.

Kazakh girls often amuse themselves skipping with a cord that loops around the ankle and bears a weight on one end. They get the cord spinning in a circle and hop over it. Boys play assyk, competing to see who can toss a small sheep bone closest to a little pile of bones.

And now, just like ESPN, I do this.

<TABLE borderColor=#00b2ee cellSpacing=0 width=250 border=1><TBODY><TR><TD bgColor=#00b2ee>Did you know?</TD></TR><TR><TD bgColor=#fffacd><TABLE cellPadding=15><TBODY><TR><TD>Kures is a Kazakh form of wrestling that has some similarities to sumo wrestling. Powerful competitors try to force each other out of the ring while at the same time jabbing their opponents anuses with their thumbs.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Are you happy now. You want a piktur of the kokpar too?
