I’m on the Toledo Rockets +21.5 (bought half a point) in this interstate rivalry. In particular I’m impressed with their QB. Aaron Opelt. This kid threw for 423 yds. at Purdue in week one and 319 yds. in week two vs. Colorado. He also rushed for 110yds in the Colorado game. Toledo raked up 624 yds. of total offense last week (albeit it was against Colorado). Toledo returns 18 starters (9 offense/ 9 defense), including all five offensive linemen. Opelt, who is the nation's individual leader in total offense (437.0 yards per game).
Based on what I have seen in their first two games the Buckeyes have a long ways in living up to the hype the media has bestowed on them , and certainly one can't count the Rockets out of any game. Remember last year (Oct. 11) when the Rockets were a double digit dog in “The Big House” at Ann Arbor when they came up with a huge upset over Michigan (13-10). Opelt was 33 for 50 for 257 yards.
To repeat, you can't count the Rockets out of any game!
