I guess I'll just cheer you guys on for awhile...

my day..I almost played two bets Balto -125 and Toronto -200 all in.

then I thought some more, and was all set to play balto -1.5 +165, Mets, and Tor -1.5

then I settled on Balt UND 5 first 5, Mets and Tor -1.5

So I m in the bottom of the 4th in Balto game, score is 2-0 , 1 out nobody on...Mets are scoreless, and Toronto just went up 4-2, things were looking okay.

Balto goes on to score 5 all with two outs! the game stays under though (how ironnic) but the first half goes over!

The Mets take a 2-0 lead around that time, so I am still hopefull to maybe win the other two games...around this time Seattle ties it 4-4, and the Mets squander a big chance to bust the game wide open as red hot David Wright whiffs with the bases loaded and one out...after that Tom Glavine can't find the plate, as soon as the Mets got the lead, the Cubs go on to have their biggest inning of the season and that game goes down too.

Around this time Toronto goes back up 6-4 and the game is getting late, they have 2nd and 3rd one out and I am hoping for atleast one more run (not too much to ask? Wrong, they squander that chance but still lerad 6-4 as they go to the 8th...and no sooner do they take the field , they yield back to back homers and the game is tied again...toronto was 26-3 when winning at home covering the runline...not today though.

This day was a microcosm of my season.

In all seriousness Jman, I know exactly where you are coming from......my teams can't hold a 4 run lead, or a closer can't close the game, but 1 run against my team is unbeatable. Crappy year, you would have to see my plays to believe them.

thats ridiculous. the os are not good vs lefties and they hadnt scored anything in the two games prior to todays game. so this is how the luck broke down for you....the Os scored 1 on thursday, one on firday, EIGHT in the first 5 innings today, then Zero after the 5th when your wager was complete. the only 5 innings in the series they scored was in the 5 innings you had the under.
:nohead:

and then if you want to know why the mets allowed any runs....its b/c endy chavez lost a ball in the sun and that gave theroit a triple to start the 6th. thru 5 innings the cubs had 2 hits....theroit hits a Very routine pop up to chavez but he just lets it land right next to him and they call it a triple....so they start with a runner on 3rd and 0 outs instead of one out and no one on for glavine who would have only allowed 2 hits thru 5.1 innings...
different game...
that pop up changed the game....bradford wouldnt have come in...glavine wouldnt have pitched around lee b/c there would have been no one on....and so on..

:pucking:

hard to believe some of the shit some people have had to watch this year. guy just needs to catch a pop fly and its just a normal start to a quick inning...but he cant find it in the sun...

I believe it Intruder....just to get a runner in from 3rd with one out was a battle for me, it got to the point I just expected my side to not score.

Last week it was all the extra inning losses...the Houston game SNB, where Carl Everett couldn't get the runner in from 3rd with one out....or the Bos game two nights ago where the 2nd baseman misses a routine grounder right at him and allows the tying runs to come in , instead of Bos winning by one...that play alone cost me a huge money swing.

It just wasn't meant to happen this year for me...I'm not even disappointed at this point.

Mo, I didn't even see the Chavez ball ....I didn't even realize that happened LOL...I turned the game back and the Cubs had a man on third and Glavine couldn't throw a strike to Lee.....OMG! I'm not sure I needed to hear that.

it was terrible. it wasnt a deep fly at all, it wasnt far to his left, wasnt far to his right...just a can of corn...he turned his head, stuck out his glove and the ball landed next to him and then rolled. he didnt even run hard after it..
thats the only reason anyone was on base and he pitched carefully to lee. glavine was cruising thru that game....chc dont score, mets dont bring in their pen, and they hold the lead for glavine to either finish it up or bring in the real Pen...wags, sanch..

Funny thing was I watched almost the entire game pitch for pitch to that point, I missed that play and ya know it's probably a good thing I did...Chavez had almost lost a ball earlier in the sun...and like you say Glavine wouldn't have pitched around Lee...I was disapointed he didn't even pitch to Lee up 2-0...

The announcers never even mentioned the 3 base error .... that just takes the cake.

Tor was 26-3 covering the RL when they win at home , near 90%.

yeah its comical that they call it a triple. i was watching b/c i had both pitchers in a league of mine...
i mean honestly, it took no effort to get to the ball, just just lost it and then looked scared that it might hit him.

and you're right...lee has ked vs Glavine more than he has vs any other pitcher and he had ked in that game, i dont know why Glavine chose to pitch around him, but im also surprised Glavine got such a short hook. I mean if you are bringing in hielman, perhaps...but not bradford...

i was on tor the other day, rl, when Ryan gave up two runs to texas with a 3 run lead, first time, i believe, that he has given up 2 runs in a game. i only recall that now b/c u mention tor and im sure you were on it as well....seems to be the kind game thats haunted you all thru 2006...

and there are still over 2 months left...

The RL stat I mentioned only pertains to Tor home games...I wasn't on that one....I saw it though (3-2)

Anyway Mo thanks for the posts and suggestions, you seem to be pretty detailed, I like that .

mofome, when you get a chance in the near future, can you get my email address from a Mod?

I just want to discuss you're style of capping. This is my worst year in a long time and you are having great success.......not hurry, I just want to pick your brain.

Thanks

sure, you can get my email just by clicking on my name, its listed there and others have gotten off here i know.
it would be a very long talk to talk about everything with the many many lines that are available and both taking advatage of them and respecting those that make the lines and using some to determine othre wagers (but i wont bore ya with too much you wont care about lol). much goes into a lot of the thinking for different things and then there are just some that are obvious plays. more of the systems and all use a lot of lines and values to determine value on an investment instead of a gamble...
whatever it may be, we can talk whenever you like

ana looking decent as of now, would be a nice close to the night
