USC-3½/Wisconsin

I have not been big on betting USC this year, but even though losing to Stanford in their conference championship game, I'd have to say their offense still looked pretty good. Their playmakers were making plays. Adorree Jackson, Juju Smith, Ronald Jones and Justin Davis will have plenty for you to watch. The Trojan's talent reminds me a little bit like the old days. You'll see. Too much for the Badgers.

Good luck with the play, Conan. Will most likely be on the Trojans as well.

agree with you. wisc record is well inflated because of bad teams. every win they have is against a team <.500

be aware that every team that lost their championship game has lost both SU and ATS so far this year with USC, IOWA, FLA remaining. games aren't even close as they lost by 86 points combined ATS and 106 points combined SU

Agree with you on the talent disparity between the two teams but USC underperforms too often in big games for me to bet more than a few hundy on them later.

Wisky hasn't beaten USC in their last 6 tries. They seem to get a too psyched when they play them.

Good call. You can add S'ua Cravens to the list of playmakers. Remember that name. He will be making plays on Sundays soon at a stadium near you.

Those games are all from 1960's though.

If Louisville gets the cover for me I will press it on USC. Otherwise, USC for 1 unit.

Good luck to all of you.

When was the last time they played?

Ron Vanderkellen was quarterbacking in the 63 Rose Bowl. Conan is REALLY reaching on that stat. Athletically this game is a mismatch but USC tends to play stupid. BTW RT, Wisky has the best out of conference loss of anyone don't they??

comments on game from Los Angeles Times....
"In the last 25 years, USC has held a decided speed advantage against Big Ten teams in bowl games. Since losing to Michigan State in the 1990 John Hancock Bowl, the Trojans are 7-0 in bowl games against Big Ten members, including last season's Holiday Bowl victory over Nebraska.
USC is playing Wisconsin for the first time since 1966 and is 6-0 against the Badgers.
This Wisconsin team is different than the ones that produced 1999 Heisman Trophywinner Ron Dayne, Montee Ball and Melvin Gordon. For only the third time in the last 23 seasons, the Badgers could finish the season without a 1,000-yard rusher."

I agree about the disparity of talent and USC speed advantage in this game. But can't you say that about USC every time they take the field? Yet they've still found a way to lose 5 games. The only thing that kept me off Wisky is their soft Big 10 schedule this year. I'm not sure exactly what they are other than a very good defensive team that should keep this a low scoring game...
