No Caleb Williams, no playoffs, no defense…will USC even get off the bus for this matchup?

There are several games like this... another is OSU vs Missouri (+6.5), OSU already has 6 players transferring (including >3000 yd QB McCord) and more will transfer and or sit for the NFL prep.

It is a huge game for Missouri, first big bowl game in a long time, they will come to play, though they will have some NFL sits and transfers, too, TBD, but not as much as OSU. Missouri beating OSU will be a huge PR win for Missouri recruiting, even if it is tarnished.

USC didn't show up for the 2nd half of the season, but I think there is a chance they play well as the back-ups have something to play for and, at USC, the back-ups are pretty good. Beside that, they don't have the albatross of a prima donna QB hanging over their head and there may be some, "let's show him" attitude on the team.

Agree 100%. The USC backup QB came into the San Jose State game and was throwing darts and there is talent up and down the roster. Same with Ohio State.

I love USC. Going to games for 70 years.
But this is a bad bet. Too much uncertainty. Painful to admit.

Riley better get his act together, defense, both lines, or he'll be moving on. Can't win with offense alone. His deficiencies have been masked by 3 heisman qb's.

Damn. Harrison out too?!?!
No word on Harrison yet but I would expect him to pull out after awards are handed out. Three Buckeye running backs are now out and highly likely RB Henderson declares for NFL. The RB's out are Pryor, Williams, and Trayanum. Williams declared NFL.
Overall, at least 14 Buckeyes are now in portal or declared for NFL. Most non-starters.

From Eleven Warriors; Trayanum becomes the 13th Buckeye to enter the transfer portal since the end of the regular season, joining quarterback Kyle McCord, running back Evan Pryor, wide receiver Julian Fleming, centers Victor Cutler Jr. and Jakob James, defensive end Omari Abor, linebacker Reid Carrico, cornerbacks Jyaire Brown and Ryan Turner, safeties Cameron Martinez and Kye Stokes and kicker Parker Lewis.

Might be time for Ryan Day to enter the transfer protocol. Michigan hopes he stays put.
