He didn’t have to go public with the investigation of the police department. He could have handled it quietly.

But nooooooo, he had to stoke the fire. I guess he had to have one last great act of defiance before he heads back to the private sector to teach racism 101.

President Obama did not issue a formal statement in reaction to the shooting of two police officers in Ferguson, Missouri last night. But he did take time to tweet.

“Violence against police is unacceptable. Our prayers are with the officers in MO,” he wrote on Twitter, signing the message with a personalized “bo.”

Gee that’s swell but how about a beer summit?

And someone here states that Right Wing Extremist groups are the biggest threat to citizens and law enforcement....

As I pointed out then, and will do now, it's the racebaiters that are the bigger threat

"unacceptable"

What an ass. Is he talking to a four year old about throwing food?

How about some stronger words condemning the " ...." act and the thugs responsible? I can't even think of a word bad enough to describe such an inhuman act.

Oh yea, you think "domestic terrorists" were responsible. You know, that big, scary threat faced by law enforcement in America.

Imagine the nerve of those 2 Ferguson police officers for getting in the way of
those innocent black thug bullets. Absolutely more proof of institutional racism
in the town of Ferguson.

Holder's intrusion into Ferguson Missouri affairs will lead to white flight and will look like E. St. Louis in 10 years.

In 1990, Ferguson, Mo. was a middle class suburban enclave north of St. Louis with a population about three-quarters white. In 2000, the town’s population was roughly split between black and white with an unemployment rate of 5%. By 2010, the population was two-thirds black, unemployment had exceeded 13%, and the number of residents living in poverty had doubled in a decade.

East St. Louis only 12 miles away. The racial makeup of the city was 1.23% White, 97.74% Black or African-American,
According to FBI's data of 2007, the murder rate of East St. Louis hit 101.9 per population of 100,000, surpassing that of cities such as Gary, Indiana (48.3 per pop. 100,000); New Orleans, Louisiana (37.6); Baltimore, Maryland (43.3); and Detroit, Michigan (47.3); as well as that of its neighbor St. Louis (37.2). FBI data shows East St. Louis' rate of rape exceeded 250 per population of 100,000. The murder rate of city of East St. Louis is even higher than that of Honduras, the country with the highest murder rate in the world, at 90.4 per 100,000 people.

Get that a higher murder rate than Honduras. the country with the highest murder rate in the world, at 90.4 per 100,000 people.

Could we send Obama and his boy Holder down to E St Louis to do an investigation? Make sure they take their time. Wear their bling. Go partying at night. You know.

Yep what a bunch of idiots, I have been on the police's side from the onset of this since August. The article says the policemen were shot by a handgun from 120 yards? Is that right? Would that take a lot of skill or would that be something easy to do? I am only familiar with rifles and shot guns.

I think most people would rather spend a year in a white collar prison than be confined to the city limits of East St. Louis
for a year!
